They are going to be very similar I think. Microsoft doesn't want to be 100 dollars more powerful, that 500 vs 400 price tag will look bad if they can't convert people into streaming believers on that 200-300 dollar box.

Exactly, but that cheaper box will seem REAL cheap compared to the PS5 at a likely 400 and Anaconda at 500. They won't want another 900p situation for games, that cheaper box is all about atleast getting people onboard to convert into streaming.

So this gen the Xbox and Switch went in with trying to be gimmick consoles, while the PS4 was just a basic gaming console.
MS seems determined to keep the Scarlet an exclusively gaming type console. Will the other two follow suit or will Nintendo do another gimmick console while Sony maybe hop onto some kind of streaming gimmick?
