To be honest, I'm just of sick of grimdark dystopian societies dominating fiction. It feels like I traveled to the 90s comic book era where everyone thinks this type of interpretation of life, is not only valid, but realistic and true to humanity. It's sickening to know that some short fat guy war dodger that has never fought in his life, never sacrificed anything, is somehow the arbiter of what societal values. GRRM is a hack. And Tolkien has experienced far more terrible struggles in life, and yet still managed to write the better fantasy novel that isn't all about deconstruction or subverting expectations.

There's nothing interesting about GRRM's mythos. Fucking Faith of Seven is just corrupted Christianity, except Martin doesn't understand the relationship of the trinity and thinks Seven Aspects means coeternal consubstantial persons. What the fuck are you talking about, ever since they showed us that video where the sun was out Yea Forums has hated this game's art style.
Yea Forums isn't one person, but I definitely agree with them that they took the wrong approach.
If they wanted a futuristic game they should have expanded cities up into the sky and down underground.
Imagine a a city where the roads have all been dug down into four or five stories and a where the street once was there are now catwalks with railings.
It would have to be obvious though, like take iconic buildings are make it clear to the player that they expanded construction downwards.

Now in regards to the sky, they should have bridged sky scrapers together and made them into a second ground level with grass and sky scrapers of their own.
Only anyone who lives beneath can't see the sun so it's an under city of perpetual neon and florescent lighting.
As it its currently the city looks like Miami.
