You know those weird jitters the game gets even when the connection is good and the delay is low?
That's because wi-fi is half-duplex; you can't send and receive data simultaneously which leads to a lot of quirky shit in fighting games depending on their netcode. Ethernet is full-duplex so this isn't an issue.

It's actually optimal, though I haven't checked if anyone has found a better route. 66b leads straight into 63214B, which is generally included in a lot of Linne's optimal midscreen combos.

Sounds like alot of people are splitting or bailing. If you want, you can migrate to Lobby 2 even if it's supposed to be the kids' table since it's definitely more fun to have lots of people to play against (at least in my opinion).

I'd usually be "finished" or close to it by now, since every league I do the end game league content, and bop uber elder. But I really like the league mechanic, and I finally get to use flicker, so I'll expand my horizons and keep playing very casually, poking into hyper end game goals.

CLR should give you an option to just lock your square to white so you can ignore colors altogether

I never actually get that far because I can never commit myself to learning boss mechanics in standard for those fights and all of my hardcore deaths come right after massive purchases and obliterate my will to play. It's stupid but I learn new lessons about things that can one shot me every time.
I'm really enjoying how much better the delve/incursion stuff is worked in now since I sat synthesis out. Betrayal content still sucks though imo.

Thanks though I definitely want to get better at doing the stance combo stuff since right now I've really only got like 2 combos under my muscle memory. That or learn some other routes I could take the character that don't start on 2C.

Pretty sure I'm missing some other peeps but you shouldn't have too much problem finding some good Mika players to give you tips.

Synthesis was garbage anyway, concept was good, execution was piss poor, you missed nothing, except bat shit 0.0001% items I suppose.

End game fights aren't anything particularly hard, they're mostly gear checks. It's really dumb there's no way to truly practice though, you need to waste time setting up the attempts.

I don't want to play HC since I think it's a waste of time for practical reasons. Get rekt by lag spikes, forced to build tanky/safe. I like the concept, but there's just too many lame things.

I wouldn't have gotten those items anyway, so it wasn't a huge deal breaker. I was busy the first few days of synthesis and the abundance of negative feedback especially after betrayal put me off pretty hard.
Every league I tell myself to play SC and it never happens. This time was easier though since there were no carts bugging through walls and killing players or syndicate encounters that show up instantaneously and delete 6.5k health.
the vods get taken down after a while. I can upload them all to a YouTube channel at some point since they're also on my HD

Put her in a corner then she's dead, Hilda's defensive options are not that great.

Block and get close to her. Win Grd, CS, and then use meter to bypass her attacks.

That current one you have up does have a few Mika players for that new guy to watch though so maybe he'll get a good idea of how she plays with that too besides watching pro JP players.

Your favourite gank squad is still around though. A few times they would roll out right after the legion broke, making me feel like it was intentional. Nerfed, but still nasty, are certain legion mobs that do dumb amounts of damage and can off screen you.

Isn't that the truth haha..Oddly enough, it's showing 1 and 0 bars for me against everyone in Lobby 2 here and yet I still get like 4-5 frames.

Given the players who have been in this lobby I'll assume this is Pascal and say it's mostly about the throw game. On offense you're generally doing tight blockstrings until you get pushed out without threatening throws so frametraps are much less effective, and on defense I'd recommend trying to practice 3CAD OS and/or trying to challenge likely reset/throw points since 5A and 2B are incredibly good for poking out. Against Orie I would recommend more use of 236A in midscreen neutral especially if you have CS or can confirm into 236C to make it painful.

Dash blocking is key. Normally you want to do so after pillar or pins. I have a tendency to whiff 5C a lot so when I do so use that chance to move in.

Pins make sense but by the time I've started moving after a pillar it always seems like she already has another attack out and it pushes me fartehr back than when I started

Oh yeah, that's definitely happened to me while I had a breach open and it was terrifying. What's worse is that every other encounter you can literally just shrug off like a slightly more dangerous rare mob. Betrayal content needs a massive rework, not only are the encounters trash but the Syndicate tree just seems way too complex to fit into standard due to not showing up every map.

I believe pin is like -8 or something so it's good time to move in. Also if you're close enough you can risk assaulting over my 2c

Clearlamp says to try and do something, preferably invincible, after shielding a pillar.

I'm convinced atic knows what I'm about to do at least 80% of the time.
