So, why do Switch owners have lower standards?
So, why do Switch owners have lower standards?
They don't have much of a choice.
>implying it's not being review-bombed
There are only 2 negative scores with actual reviews and one of them is a Russian who said this:
Guys, the only Russian review
The game is not worth the money even once, do not take it, especially in Steam for 4500
And the other has this to say:
This is an old fashioned J-RPG game with lengthiness dialogue and turn-based fight that would cost the player massive time. The interest in the plots is faded in such a long and boring time. BTW, Xbox controller is not supported in this game, and keyboard input sucks too. I recommended you not to spend your time and money on Octopath Traveller. If you really a J-RPG lover and want to try this game, I suggest you buy the NS edition that controller is supported and you can sell the game card after finishing it.
>graphics doesn't matter
>resolution doesn't matter
>third party support doesn't matter
>paid online doesn't matter
They're honestly fucking stupid
Good point, Octopath Traveler is hardly worth 4500 rubles.
PC faggots seething they can't pirate it
I read that as
>you can smell the game card after finishing it
And it seemed like a reasonable advantage for the Switch.
Wow, they're selling it for 70 USD in Russia? Shit's worth MAYBE $20, tops.
>39 ratings vs 940 ratings
>"why do Switch owners have lower standards?"
>graphics doesn't matter
It matters less than good gameplay
>resolution doesn't matter
No matter how much you want to compare e-penis, PC will always reign supreme with resolution so why bother trying to compete against it.
>third party support doesn't matter
How can third party support matter when there's no third party support to begin with
>paid online doesn't matter
Nintendo is not the one posting record profit from their paid online here. Everyone else is getting ripped off but they sure as hell don't care, so we're actually better than par for the course.
>They're honestly fucking stupid
user pls. We're posting on Yea Forums. We're all stupid idiots here.
Maybe just this kind of games better to be played at portables?
I honestly don't understand why SE care to release it in PC.
No one sane these days play shitty graphic 100+ hours RPG by sitting in front of monitor in their basement all days.
>39 ratings
Half of them Snoyboys from Yea Forums
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Why can’t it be pirated?
(I have too much of a toaster to do pc gaming right now)
Graphics don't matter
Prove to me how graphics make a game better
Don't act like us PC fans have any standards
Just look at the most played games on Steam
Hasn't been cracked yet.
Doesn't the PC version have Denuvo?
poo
There aren't any good games on that platform, and they tend to be single platform peasants.
They get used to their games as being the standard, and develop stockholm syndrome for their console.
Consider that games usually cost in Russia at half of price in US, this time regional pricing made it actualy more expensive than US.
PC players are just mad at the price. Tendies are used to overpriced games so it didn't bother them
Might have something to do with the game being easily portable giving it a bonus.
So, if you look at critic reviews, the Switch version has 2 points more than PC version. I'm surprised you didn't use the 'durr Nintendo bonus' "argument".
While this isn't the best RPG on the Switch, it is pretty damn good. And the user reviews is lower because Denuvo, you know that.
Nintendofags are fucken dumb as shit. They don't understand how shit consoles are. No, that new mario game is not good, KYS man child
Octopath is literally not a good game, it's Bravely Default minus the redeeming aspects of it. The only reason people praised it was because there was because the Switch was in a drought.
Yes it does.
To be fair, there can be other reasons outside of game quality for PC verisons to be rated lower, in this case Denuvo tends to get things reviewed much much lower. Other than that some games just have really bad ports.
