I have a decent PC and I've never tried Witcher. In the year if our Lord 2019., where we get Three Houses and Astral Chain in a span of 1 month, my answer is obviously no.

From what Digital Foundry said most of the docked footage is mainly 720p, its like how Mortal Kombat on Switch is mainly 720p for the most part and drops during cutscenes.

The new 3ds got a bump in power though, albeit not a very large one. If Nintendo hopes to stay relevant in the very soon 9th gen then they'll need to either make a revision or release a sequel. They said they wanted the console to last longer than the typical generation-long console so they'll need to do this if they want to release the latest games on it.

At the very least, a mini version is pretty much inevitable. Current model is too expensive for the average person and they failed to meet sales goals.

Playing on PC i realized that apart from hair works, the most demanding settings were foliage and shadows so I guess if they completely disable those the game will well albeit looking like shit and losing all atmosphere.
