Hiya, I'm Mail! Why aren't you playing my game, mister?
Hiya, I'm Mail! Why aren't you playing my game, mister?
I'd honestly like to know, what game?
I've been trying out classic rpgs, I assume that is what she's from
Switch reboot when?
Popful Mail, of course!
god i want to cum on her tummy
Which version is better? For what console? Is that version in English?
I refuse to play weeb games in weeb language, but I love armorkinis.
Because I wrote a fantasy manuscript ripping off of you and Lina Inverse for my protagonist.
I wanna put my dick in between where thigh and abdomen meet under her leotard
oh man it was in the file name and everything, thanks for spoonfeeding
Sega CD version, yes its in english
Oil mail
I am playing your game.
Watch out for that trap
I want to eat spaghetti noodles out of that witches butt hole
Thanks bro. I miss the era when developers just wanted to make their target market happy.
Why can't I play a popful mail game that isn't 30 years old?
falcom doesn't care about the switch
What the fuck I'm emulating Popful Mail right now, away with you sorcerer!
Looks interesting, maybe I'll pick up a copy and--
Oh.
I want the darkest most deviant thing of all, I want to BIFF her.
Because I am genuinely too retarded to figure out how to use Retroarch. I wanted to emulate a 3DO game called Lucienne's Quest.
I guess I should just stick to zsnes
>B*ffing it
Get out of here you degenerate
Use Kega Fusion to play the Sega CD version, its braindead easy to use. the SNES version of the game is inferior.
I might not play your game, but I might jerk off to you later. Who knows!
I didn't even know there was a snes version of this but thanks
wtf...where's the dick
Retroarch and mednafen are memes. don't use them, stick to kega fusion and snes9x
ok, thanks user
Now I just need to find some janky 3DO emulator
I couldn't care less about the translation, but the game is completely fucked gameplaywise. They made enemy encounters a pain in the ass to deal with and it's seriously an exercise in frustration to play. Someone should hack it and restore it to its original state.
Does this game have any of that classic Falcom soulâ„¢? Just seeing that they made this made me interested.
This exists for a reason.
emulation.gametechwiki.com
Biffed it? Were they being funny or did she fuck up the line and they just kept it?
*throws her into the ground and starts using the mating press technique*
>Someone should hack it and restore it to its original state.
That does exist actually.
it was a different time
ah
>only version translated is sega cd, and its done by "working designs" so its basically not translated
>also have to patch the game to remove their gameplay changes
crazy how no one took a shot on the snes version yet
give me one good reason to play her game instead of playing porn games that include her instead?
>porn games that include her instead?
I've beaten it.
Emulate it on your hacked Wii.
Popful Mail is secretly Falcon's most underrated IP. I wouldn't mind a current gen/PC port, if not a remake/sequel
It's a great game but the music is godlike.
youtube.com
*Falcom
you know, games featuring pornographic images in addition to gameplay
Mail is for profitable whoredom, not for rape
Can I get some sauce boss?
Hmm interesting where could one individual such as myself find these pornographic images with gameplay included?
That's pretty good.
I'm sorry, Mail, I sold my copy of your game last year when I was out of work and needed to make rent. I am thankful for the fun times I had playing your game, and for the $250 the sale of your game got me when I was in a tight spot.
>Drunken movement
>Fucked collision detection and wonky post-hit iframes
>Slow ass attack animations
The SCD version is fine and looks fucking gorgeous, but don't lie. The SFC version just plain plays better.
Play the Saturn version of Lucienne's Quest instead.
I was a big fan of the artwork when i was younger though I've never played it
I don't know what game, ma'am.
I looked into translating the SNES version, but fucking working with hex codes to change the character values looks absolutely nightmarish.
alright I'll spoon feed you this time but only because you probably won't find it just looking for her name
game is called GirlvsGirl, gameplay is like the old spy vs spy game
also just saying each girl only has 4 cgs
heh
It had a saturn version? Well shit
Bless you and thanks for the source
not him but the snes version might as well be a different game
pc88/pc98/pce cd/sega cd are almost like taking the same and upgrading every time
What does a person who post something like this look like? Must be a 600 pound ultra giga neckbeard.

>GirlvsGirl
Thanks boss.
Sega CD is nothing like the first games, it doesn't even have the same movement or combat mechanic since the PC88/98/PCECD all used a side-scrolling version of the old Ys bump combat system.
SFC Mail is like someone took Wanderers From Ys and improved on it in every way, it's pretty great.
Sure was, under the name "Sword & Sorcery."
Got my copy right here, matter of fact.
Mail should try this on
That's excellent.
>the author just did another update to super 117
Shame that that is the most recent Popful Mail to happen, next to /vr/ translating a Popful Mail doujin.
reeeeeeEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Falcom posted this on their twitter page not too long back and have a poster of it in up in their office, so there may be something lined up.
Probably too much to hope for a complete remake or sequel in the Napishtim/Felghana/Origin style, but hey.
what the fuck
well thanks anyway user
>Hiya, I'm Male!
Every fucking time.
Is there anywhere where i could find those images without downloading the game? I mean, i am downloading the game anyway, but it's unfortunately very slow.
Serendipitous, yeah?
I don't know how I ended up with so many import Saturn JRPGs, but it just kind of happened over the years. I'm very nostalgic for those times. Being a teenager in the 90s and importing games was really fun. And even though I know they are really poor localizations, I have such a soft spot for those 90s Working Designs titles.
>mail
>male
I'm listening
I have no idea, I just cropped them from the gallery.
>Almost localized as a sonic spin-off
Still baffling.
Nice, I don't know too many people who import games. I grew up with a Genesis but never got to play any of Sega's later consoles. Always wanted to try games like Wachenroder.
I'm curious on how would it had been but praising the lord that it never happen.
I'd be morbidly fascinated to see what it would've been like. Mail the Hedgehog sounds like some kind of DA nightmare.
I beat it, but found the action and platforming quite lacking.
It's fun. The (lack of) mercy invincibility took some time to get used to.
You mean it was too fucking hard for you, you fucking shitter

There are a lot of really great titles that never came over to the West on the Saturn. Haven't played Wachenroder yet but the art is really fantastic. Thankfully it's still a cheap title to import, so I'll get around to it eventually.
I'm not sure which is harder, SCD with it's fucked iframes and movement but you can save anywhere or SFC with its solid iframes and movement but you can only save at inns. Tough call.
Because your game was one of many Wonder Boy clones during its time and it wasn't a very well executed one.
It's not a hard game. It's just not that good. The most annoying part is how sprites stay really far forward when you're moving so you rarely read for enemies that show up near the edge of the screen.
Better get to it fast, before some yt dickhead makes a video about it because of the artist for Serial Experiments Lain working on the game.
I've been meaning to try out the saturn but hot damn it has a fair bit of games that are extremely pricey. Planning on trying out Dreamcast too eventually because of the Ecco games on it.
For some reason, all of the games apart from the PCE version do that. Falcom seemed to have a problem with simple things like "keep the fucking camera centered on the player character" during that period or something.
Probably cause all their senior developers fucked off back in 1989 and a bunch of incompetent newcomers made up the bulk of the company by the early 90s.
Is that why a whole bunch of their titles went to consoles? A lot of weird stuff happened back then.
The Japanese PC market was rapidly declining in the 90s.
I suppose there's that, but then they did go to Windows for the late 90s and most of the 2000s, for whatever reason.
