They want to bring back Zodiark, have introduced primals to everyone including fabricating an empire just to cause conflict all in the name of 'wanting balance'. Because the First is totally free of Ascian presence there's nothing to counterbalance light against dark, and it's rapidly becoming a light-aspected variant of the Void. The Warriors of Darkness came over to try and force another Calamity to merge the First's lifestream with the Source's in an attempt to save it since they apparently couldn't spread darkness there themselves, or they were lied to that they couldn't.

If you are already in Pyros then it's all cruise control from there as all you need is logo's actions and crystals. Hydatos is extremely easy just takes a while to grind the crystals.

Why is our world called the source?

I actually doubt the Flood of Light will get resolved immediately since Eden ties into the MSQ, and that entire raid-series is about trying to restore the aetherial balance over time. They way they talked about it it seems like our activities on the First get cut short whenever it is we have to go back.

12,000 years ago the world got split into thirteen alternate dimensions because of Hydaelyn and Zodiark sperging out and splitting apart from eachother. Eorzea is the original world that all the other dimensions came from.

Ish. You can't 100% solo this game. The main story still funnels you into dungeons, and if you're playing a damage dealer, you're looking at lengthy queues. If you only do the main scenario quests you'll run into bumps where the next quest lv. requirement is higher than what you're at. At end game you'll have to keep your gear relevant but that's like a dungeon a day per week, if that.

You can comfortably play this game casually for the story if you don't mind the fact that some shit you will have to work extra for. But then that doesn't really make it that much different from SP JRPGs.

Igeyorhm did too good of a job corrupting the heroes of that world with Auracite and caused a flood of darkness.
As punishment, she was turned into Lahabrea's servant.

Igeyorm was too good at her job. She gave auracite to the WoL and other fighters of that world to trap summoned primals. The auracite then leaked corrupting aether which then twisted them into aether staved beings that warred with each other for the world's aether. They were too strong while the WoLs were too weak and eventually no aether aether in that world

CG trailer mixed up Nidhogg and Hraesvalgr to begin with, but then that was supposedly a miscommunication with the people working on the trailer.

It's probably something really shallow like he just enjoys chaos.

The fact that the space between worlds and "Void" are actually different places is kind of fucky. I don't think it's explained why it's so easy to summon voidsent but moving people between world's is such a Herculean endeavor

Charibert's outgoing damage isn't the hard part, it's that players don't pay attention to horses at all. When i was leveling a healer I had an ultimate legend btw tank who REFUSED TO FUCKING MOVE when the knights spawned. We wiped 8 total times before they couldnt turn their character for a moment because they didnt get the memo you can autoattack while turned away or something. The WoLs of that shard were also all children but never got it together like in FFIII due to Igeyorm's meddling. The Thirteenth Shard is literally just the FFIII world except they failed spectacularly and it became consumed by the [perfect darkness] and became a Void. Unukalhai is an Onion Knight and Elidibus snatched him from there for some TOTALLY NOT NEFARIOUS PURPOSE.
Like he is TOTALLY NOT going to utilize his version of the echo and attunement to a darkened world to make him a vessel of Zodiark that would be something an INSANE person would do! Like, might as well drop the other moon if you were going to do something like that, haha!

Archer in 1.0, WAR in ARR. Dragoon for HW (also has additional dialogue) Monk and or SAM for Stormblood and DRK for ShB if you want to follow the jobs our character uses officially.

I grabbed a couple things in Shisui but I was still wearing full Shire STR jewelry from HW at the time at the very least. I didn't drop those until level 70.

Its a mixture, it is both a healer and tank check on top of being at the time when previous expac gear starts losing its effectiveness. Most groups are fine in the dungeon itself.

It's the hard cutoff for Shire/augmented Shire, basically. Though even if you're geared or at max possible ilvl there's some packs like the two at the start that can still push your shit in pretty badly if everyone's not expecting it.

I guess think of the shards as spheres, and voids as energy in between. Not exactly how it works, but it'll do for the example.
The shards are closed off from one another, but the voids brush against everything, yet require aether to open rifts for them to enter through.
Meanwhile Ascians can somehow effectively open tunnels from shard to void with relative ease.

Tanks and healers in general are pretty tied since they're both integral but can get a big head about it. SCHs seem worse to me than ASTs and WHMs since a SCH's job healing is a bit harder due to the DPS rotation retained from ACN and focus on oGCDs, WARs are a weird mixed bag of good guys and complete prima-donnas. DRKs don't ever seem to have a bad attitude in my experience but can be pretty stupid, PLDs range from total no-personality robots to the best tank ever.
