Cadence of Hyrule

Just beat the game!
Thought it was pretty great, but the difficulty could be toned up a bit.. I never really died past the first 10 minutes.
I almost got everything, but I missed 1 bottle, any help there?

I bet you paid for the game like a cuck.
Thank god I have a hacked Switch so I can get all my games for free.

Is it worth $25?

Framing stealing as righteous and paying for your games as cuck behavior is just reveals your commie ideals.

Just something about the way you come across makes me think you're a very popular and likeable person

>WAAAAH MOMMY BUY ME A NINTENDO CARD
>NO NINTENDI CARD MOMMY? WAAAAAAAAH
>GUESS I'LL HACK MY SWITCH SO I CAN DOWNLOAD SHITTY INDIE GAMES AND REMOVE ALL ONLINE PLAY FROM MY SWITCH
>MOMMMMY CAN I GET A NEW SWITCH NEXT CHRISTMAS

I hear there's at least five characters, one with only half an hp.
I guess the difficulty comes after the initial story mode?

Attached: 1555562859822.gif (240x240, 62K)

>Wasted all my diamonds trying to beat the final boss with the deku on my story mode file
I give up.

based and redpilled

Are there unlimited diamonds? Wanting to know if I should hoard or spend freely.

This game is honestly pretty fucking awesome. I can't stop twerking while playing

I've gotten over 300. Spend whenever you want

so cadence is smash?

You need around 20 to buy the items from Beetle, spend as much as you like.

>I can't stop twerking while playing

Attached: zelda_touchtha_booty_gif_by_diives-db1m2sj.gif (600x400, 223K)

How do you unlock deku?

Just beat boss 2, I'm trying to space it out though. Played like 300 hours of necrodancer so it's easier but still great

Give Tingle a total of 20 Deku Seeds.

20 deku seeds to tingle. 12 on overworld, 8 in a cave in lost woods..

nice, thank you

Just beat adventure mode. Is custom harder?

Fuck. Wondered why I had left over ones and he wouldn't take them.

Custom lets you add modifiers. Double speed, permadeath, solo character, specified seed.

Depends on options you set. Permadeath, for example.

>20 deku seeds to tingle. 12 on overworld, 8 in a cave in lost woods..
>Fuck. Wondered why I had left over ones and he wouldn't take them.
Thank god it's not 900.

There's actually 13 on the overworld, so there's 21 total, weird.

probably so you can have one in your inventory so it isn't blank

>cleared out entire map before 4th dungeon
>fourth boss zerg rushes me
>everything back on map again

Fuck I'm mad

>There's actually 13 on the overworld, so there's 21 total, weird.
Oh god. Keep looking guys. 879 to go.

>started playing
>died a few times
>thought i'll restart now that I got the hang of things
>map is completely fucking different

holy shit what a fucking pile of shit, how are you supposed to learn maps if they change?

Same reason why there's a 4th cog when you only need 3 I guess.

>holy shit what a fucking pile of shit, how are you supposed to learn maps if they change?
You don't. You learn tactics. You then can replay, with new maps each time.

Bring the deku scrub into the final boss replaces Cadence.. maybe he has an ending of his own?
I'm gonna try do it but with his shit health it's gonna be hard

I've died like 300 times. This is like my first rythim game, do you get used to the mechanics eventually or am I just retarded?

>replaying games

imagine the state of nintendies that don't get enough games they have to play the same one over and over

Based as fuck

If you go into the options, there's an option to turn it into a turn based game, so you can practice there to learn tactics and such, then turn the rhythm aspect back on and use your new skills to the beat.

Do we know if there's any more than 4 playable characters?

???
games have been doing this for years?
especially on pc.

how do the bosses compare to necrodancer?
You don't HAVE to move every beat, if you need time to think you can just stay still and while it will kill your combo you can just regain it.

I've found the bosses a bit easier. And you respawn in the dungeon with the boss room unlocked.

Easier, but the ones I encountered were pretty fun and require rhythm, attacking, and dodging in a cool way.

The bosses are easier but longer and are more fleshed out, in my experience

Who is the fourth?

legit asking: can i get a refund on this somehow? its really not for me

$25 isn't very much money to me so yes.

Cadence, Link, Zelda, Deku.

legit asking. How poor are you?

very

That sucks bro, spend your money more wisely or don't even spend $$ on games until you aren't poor.

Wait fuck, the maps are random? Shit, I was gonna ask where to get the flippers, since I accidentally got into the lake dungeon using hoverboots, and sequence broke getting the treasure.
Also sequence broke getting the treasure in the gerudo area since i have snorkel so i can just cross 1 tile of lava to get to the treasure box.

How do you wake up the prince, at least? of the zoras.

Is the game that short?

To add to this, I believe if you give a sob story to nintendo customer service in the USA you get one refund on a game (as eshop credit). Tell them you have trouble with hearing so you can't play the game well or something lol.

Beat the game, noticed there's an option to start a new game with custom features.

For someone who beat the Lute Dragon and that Frakenfucker boss in the original Necrodancer, do I have any further challenges to pursue here or am I done?

>seed collecting
HAHA YOU FOUND ME

I beat the game in 7 hours, with 2 breaks inbetween.
If that's offputting for you, then skip I suppose.

Wish it was Dorf

I'm trying to beat ganon with the deku character in hopes of a new ending, join me!

It really should have been.

yeah i mean for $25 i expect at least a hundred or more hours out of a game and if this doesn't give that then its not worth the money

Attack the ghost that speaks back to you, he'll turn into a very annoying enemy ghost. Best way to deal with it I found is to drop bombs but there may be something easier. After the ghosts are gone, the Prince wakes up.

Should be somewhat similar to Aria right? I'll give it a go.

cutlass seems OP. 2 range and can parry.

this is some og zelda tier cryptic shit

>attack the ghosts with bombs.
Ok, that's definitely not something I would've considered.. I'll do that.

Usually in these puzzle rooms, the best hint is the items you find in the pots. You'll find bombs in that area, so I just used the bombs.

you are the one who sound like a fucking nintenbro who never touch a rougelite game in your life before. legit sound like you only buy it because it has zelda on it

>they have to play the same one over and over
Bloodborne.

Anything except your basic attack works I think, I used the bow.

Are there really this many people who don't know what a roguelike is?

Alright.
Also another question, while i'm getting the timing down now for movement and attacking, when I'm using my hookshot, I always miss the beat somehow, I feel like I'm missing some kind of knowledge on how it's supposed to work or something.

The music is godlike.
youtube.com/watch?v=sh1hqY2qXO0

>Dark Souls
>Bloodborne
>For Honor
>Sekiro
Hmmm...

it's that short?

Roguelike is ded genre get the fuck over it boomer

It's a roguelite. The map changes completely every time you play. You're meant to play it again and again.

I feel like I don't recognize most of the dungeon and boss music, Gerudo Fort is the only dungeon theme I was able to identify, same with Storm for boss themes. I picked up a bit of Knight to C Sharp in Swamp but I couldn't figure out the zelda song it was paired with

What I want to know is if there is more gameplay content to unlock after beating the game in various ways.
If they're going to expand the game a darkworld version for a hardmode would be pretty awesome

Attached: 1556232517791.gif (170x170, 114K)

I just started it and it seems worse than the original. I don’t like the whole music turning off when you clear the screen and the lack of a “song” per level. It fucks up my groove. I admittedly never finished Aria in the original, so I am no savant at this, but it bugs me. I do hope this gets people to check out the original. And I love the remixes of the original tunes.

haven't even played the game, but that song is legit

Why not stay in the beat of the music if going out of it messes up your groove?
You know, aside from when you need to solve puzzles

youtu.be/6g_Qdu0fe6s

My favorite

shut up

>indie games

this game sucks. i love the visuals and music but it is otherwise ballsweat.

yes

>$37.50 on the Australian e-shop

Attached: 1522563285552.png (184x298, 99K)

Buy the US version and turn it up-side-down.

No

>Deku Seeds
>muffled YAHAHA in the distance
Wtf preorder canceled

sure

It’s Nercodancer so technically fairly short (Around 8 hours) but the modifiers amp up the difficulty
I’ve gotten 80 hours before I was good enough to beat the game as Aria

have you tried not being australian? werks for me

Attached: maxresdefault.jpg (1280x720, 121K)

it's 31.49 leafbux. No way in hell am I paying that much for an indie rhythm game. I did my time in the oracle games

Sometimes the music straight cuts out.

It’s meant to be replayed over and over
Nercodancer pros will have a much easier time than 1st time players

I got hundreds of hours from the first game. The number of characters alone adds up.

so is the pale skinned guy at the start Vaati or not

It will probably take over 100 hours to beat it if you play with a randomly generated world, permadeath, rhythm, and if you really want a challenge, double speed. That will put the game close to the difficulty of a real roguelike.

No, his name is Octavo.

Why is The Last Remnant remastered cheaper than this? A full 3D 60+hour jrpg.

Bloodborne is a good game actually worth replaying several times to understand the lore dumb cuck.

Because this is a new game and the other one a remaster of a 10 year old game. Simple.

isn't it just a reskin?

no

No, it's a completely new game.

Anyone who thinks 25 is too steep or is unsure if they’d like this one, get the first game. It is cheap as shit and see how you like it.

Also, this says a lot about me, but I wish there was a quick restart. Playing Aria has made me want to restart every single time I miss a beat and not being able to do that drives me nuts.

Well it's the same game as all the others with lore and shit

>Move off the first screen
>die to a Daira like 7 times before I understand it's attack pattern and kill it
>go into the cave afterwards
>get fucking rocked by a Stalfos Knight
>respawn, have to fight the Daira again
Wow, I'm really bad at this game.

Attached: 1383799797368.jpg (449x349, 71K)

so if hitting a wall counts as missing a beat, how do I deal with an enemy who moves every beat cardinally like a red zombie

Pretty sure you can hit walls in this one.

So I just beat ganon as the deku, I tried it with deku as player 2. No ending change. I tried with deku as player 1 with a co op partner. No change. So either nothing happens or deku solo does something.

>online play
WHO THE FUCK CARES

There's a hero mode or new game plus... right?

I care.

Not really, you can play with modifiers from the start though, like double time and perma death.
Aside from that, no.

Once you beat the game you can start a new game with difficulty modifiers.

>one with only half an hp.
I'm oretty sure it's Aria

That’s fucked. That means you can effectively stand in place. I liked the whole shovel gimmick. I somehow can’t play this game nearly as well for some reason.

>Just beat the game!
So I'm guessing these games are all about replayability seeing as how it just came out?

I'm not a fan of how there are just always going to be a hierarchy of what weapons/drops you want in roguelikes.
The only one I ever really got into was Nuclear Throne. It still had some rare weapons that were way too good but aside from those the luck factor was pretty balanced. Gungeon is alright too, but I liked the faster pacing of NT more.

Do you get anything for playing with modifiers like how you kind of get rewarded for doing bindings in Hollow Knight?

All indies are like that. You beat it and while the credits roll it's done its job if you go "that was some good shit, time to do it again only I'll do it differently."

I put in a pretty hefty amount of hours into Splatoon 2 and Mario Kart so me

is this one? seems to lack a lot fo the replayability a regular one has.

cadence of kingdom hearts when

>Jeweled Dagger
>4 damage
Goodbye poison flail, you will be missed.

The musical puns for boss names are everything I hoped they would be.

no but the original is worth the 4

It is, just for some reason it respawns you on the same map rather than restarting for real when you die in this one. Which I dislike.

How do you get to the cave in the lost woods?

It's a rogue-lite. L-I-T-E, rather than rogue-like. Rogue-lites aren't as punishing, saving some measure of progress you make.

Turn permadeath on.

It's the room with the poes. Go to the sheikah stone at lost woods then go up then left.

can i complete the whole game with the rhythm shit turner off?

How did you beat it already? Is it shorter than Crypt?

permadeath is cool and all, but I hate the tutorial is unsinkable.

He means that he completed one run.

Not shorter, easier.

but what's the incentive to complete more runs? do you not keep unlocking stuff on the original game the more runs?

...Fun?

It's just bringing me back to the map with all the moblins. What am I doing wrong?

WHAT?!

I guess use your tingle dowser until you see the poe room.

Yeah, but this one saves like all, unlike Crypt.

Fair. I’ll do that. Didn’t see it in options.

Its a roguelike, its meant to be replayed a lot of time wih different parameter orself-imposed challenges
And its a rhythm game too. You act like people play all the song once and throw the game into the bin

You act like people don't, why do you think other similar games have unlocks? sure, some people like the gameplay loop enough to keep playing forever, but that's not most people.

Tingle dowser just takes me to the dungeon.

The overworld map doesn't change much between runs. The final boss gimmick is the same even in a solo run. The biggest change was what items were in the dungeons (bow, boomerang, ice rod, hookshot) vs (poison arrow, tower shield, rito feather, magic boomerang).

I think I missed the post credits screen with the darkness approaching the triforce the first time around.

Did you notice any cracked walls along the way?

Attached: 2 runs maps.jpg (1280x1440, 514K)

oh shit, that's interesting, my dessert was all the way bottom right, I thought it was more of the individual squares.

But we can all agree that OG Crypt was better, right? I was optimistic when I first saw the trailer and I am enjoying this game a lot more after a few hours, but we can see how it is way too easy in comparison and how making it more Zelda-like made the gameplay less focused and tight. Right?

Not to say this game is bad. Especially if it gets people to play Crypt.

Hmm I'm pretty sure my overworld map is different. Like Death Mountain in the way NE, desert in SE. Otherwise similar layout though yeah

I found it. I should put my freaking glasses on when I play vidya.

Yeah, OG crypt was a more tight anf focused game, while this oneks power lies in the fanservice and top-notch zelda remixes
Still this game has a lot of potential. New mechanics, new mobs behaviour, beautiful artstyle. If the devs continue to work on it and delivered an “amplified version” like the OG this could be a lot better

Maybe Nintendo roped them into pulling the old "deliver a barebones games and then slowly trickle out an acceptable amount of content over the next 6-8 months"

>get Obsidian Flail
>the entire rest of the game becomes a literal cakewalk
Can't seem to find the last bottle either.

I was wondering about that, isn't the post credit scene hinting to that?

The flail doesn’t seem to work like the Crypt Flail. I don’t quite get what it is doing. Is it just the whip or...? Obsidian was always the best.

Bottles are at the beach shop and the two Beetle shops.

>Inventory screen tutorial every time you restart a permadeath run

they better patch that shit out posthaste

It helps you better hold that L.

That's in the main option menu instead of the custom game options.

will it make me skip killing the enemy garbing the shield and learning how to reflect?

>want to play it
>want to wait until it goes on sale

I feel like Zelda fans looking for something different are going to get more out of it than people looking for a real followup to Necrodancer at this stage, but despite the difficulty I ended up really enjoying my first run.

They did an undeniably fantastic job with the art and music, and Danny B's range has improved greatly since the original score and we get to see a much larger variety of genres and instruments at play here. I especially appreciated the use of each boss's specific instrument in their battle theme. The original did something similar with each boss' music genre but I think that was a nice little incremental improvement on that motif.

If anything really disappointed me (and the otherwise great final stretch made me notice this the most) it's that dungeons don't have separate themes for each floor. I get it for the main dungeons because it's not a linear descent and you can sequence break anyway, but since it seems like the finale's intent is to evoke specifically the original Necrodancer, it was a huge bummer than each stretch of dungeon only had one song.

I feel like the resource management flatlines a bit too, since getting weapons is tied to story progression now. There's no risk reward of pinching pennies just in case you find hover boots or a silver bow on the next floor anymore, usually the shops are just full of things you don't really need.

I have a lot of feelings, especially since Necrodancer is one of my favorite games of all time and the Zelda series moreso. I feel like it's inevitable in every formula mashup that you're gonna lose some of what make each piece of the formula special in the process. As it stands though I think it's a stellar piece of groundwork for a game that could easily be improved with a few content patches.

> He doesn't own the literal best titles of the system, which live and die with online
retard

so this doesn't have the "miss a beat and you take damage/die" thing?

>I feel like Zelda fans looking for something different are going to get more out of it than people looking for a real followup to Necrodancer

I dunno about that, most zelda fans won't understand is something you are meant to replay, I can see a lot of them being underwhelmed.

Not unless there's another character no one's unlocked yet.
Which is possible, some anons are reporting a missing slot after unlocking deku scrub.

>Cadence of Hyrule Coda races
Make it happen

>Cadence of Hyrule won't ever come out on PC
>Won't get a ton of additional songs
>Won't get a bunch of extra races
>Won't get a load of mods

King Conga>Deep Blues>Death Metal>Coral Riff

Is it bad that *this* is the thing that draws me to it the most?
Like, a 2D zelda with a random-but-still-coherent overworld and roguelite elements sounds amazing, the Necrodancer stuff is just icing on the cake

What Zelda song is each boss theme based on? i only recognized Song of Storms for Gleeockenspiel

Yeah, the fact that an indie game is the first one to do this is kinda shameful.

I think I like this game slightly more, only because the Zelda stuff, including the overworld and necessity to get items in dungeons and stuff really adds flavor to the basic formula.
Crypt is an amazing game, but outside the rhythm based gameplay, it's pretty standard, as far as roguelites go

So how long was everyone's first playthrough?

You can do that right from the start.
Only thing that changes is you can use cadence or the deku scrub in single character mode if you unlock them in story mode.

About 6 hours

Oh, that's cool. I haven't started up the game yet myself, only been listening to others.

How many rewards are there from the arrow minigame? I got the heart piece of my first try.

Me too
I adore the randomly generated, but still coherent maps. Make every new playthrough feel “new”, and i’ll play through this one quite a lot
Played right at release, and leisurely. Around 7-ish hours?

20 points gets you the big quiver. You probably want to get the great bow before attempting it.

4 and a half hour.

>forgetting about my boy Notorious D.I.G.

Attached: 1542348144627.jpg (1280x720, 261K)

Same OP, finished it in 8 deaths.
Bought it as soon as I saw it available;hour and a half or two after that there was like three people on the leaderboard and I hoped to make it.
Got stuck at the big statues with the bass guitars tho.
Any tricks on killing them? They have so much health. I ended up mopping up the map and finding a bunch of unessary tools, extra heart containers, and found fairies to enchant my rapier.
Fantastic how they blended the two games together.

Oh shit I forgot that cave.
I'm missing a bottle, and it seems like I found every unique weapon except for the rapier class.
Are they are in Hyrule Castle/Dark World Hyrule castle?

Too short and too easy. Hope they release some kind of free content update later, it's a good game but $25 for this is crazy.

So after i buy the two heart containers and the widesword from the respawn shop there's no other permanent purchases from there right

Unique rapier is in hyrule castle. wake up the king and talk to him, then do the trial.
There was a charm in a store sold somewhere that makes you immune to lava and burning coal. made that boss and dungeon pretty trivial.

Is the Cutlass a Cadance only weapon? Didn't like that the game held her out from me for so long, stuck with Zelda the entire time.
Is it worth it to switch characters in the final dungeon at all? I had those flip-flop gates in the final dungeon lobby, but the never appeared again.

>25 United States Dollar equals 36.24 Australian Dollar
>10% GST means it would be $39.864
>complain we get it cheaper than USD
???????
Are you legit retarded?

the reason its hard cause you are all old men.
your reflexes and rhythm are off. its time to stop playing vidya...I'm sorry, user.

Is the music good, and is there a lot of it?

The pro controller is enraging for this game

Who said there's a fifth?

Why?

6 hours an 47 minutes. I did a lot of running around looking for an item I couldn't ever find which increased the time by like an hour.

Does anyone know what was between the hookshot and the rito feather? I never found it.

People think there's a fifth because the character icons in the file select are off-center once Yves is unlocked.

Idk, seems like a good amount of change.
My desert was bottom left, and mt death was shoved into like top left 4 screens.
Also all the non essential items were like in a 9x9 square screen area right of Hyrule Castle

All Australians are retarded and jews

7 and a half due being stuck on Armos. Goron locket helps bigly.
Big necrodance fan, played like 5 and half hours straight.

Hey, um, I think I saw this weird thing. I had pushed a boulder off the high ground and followed after it, and I ended up riding on top of the boulder. At least, that's what it looked like for that one tile of animation, before I walked off the boulder, because it caught me by complete surprise.

I have not been able to replicate this. Can anybody else confirm?

>no one in the leaderboards for the daily challenge yet
has noone really managed to beat them yet or does it wait until the day is over before it shows them?

5 hours but I missed the flippers and the fourth character.

Fuck, is there a bigger bomb bag?

Yeah, found that while mopping up purple chests on the map. I missed the king entirely, then. Didn't know he was in this. Where in Hyrule Castle?

Might be broken somehow? I got slay the spire and leaderboards for daily just say OFFLINE MODE even though I clearly connected

go inside into hyrule castle and then take the stairs up instead of down.
There's als a bombchu minigame. I'd guess it either gives a bomb bag or a bombchu bag but i suck at it.

The bomb bag from the bombchu minigame lets you hold 10 bombs and 10 bombchu. It's pretty convenient. I don't remember how many points you have to get to get it though.

This
Nintendies will never know the delight of beating a game then taking the disc out, pissing on it, and screaming about how Mommy needs to buy you a new game now

I get that there's way more to control, but I hate they moved movement off of the face buttons.
Necrodancer is the one game I can play even when almost blind drunk, which is great since you only need one hand

It's grid-based and turn-based. It's a Roguelike, full stop.

Oh right

So XCOM is a Roguelike? Final Fantasy Tactics? Dungeons and Dragons?

You're a moron, full stop.

None of those games are turn-based in the way that Roguelikes are, moron.

Pro controllers are notorious for being over sensitive
Ironically it’s fix is really ghetto
Just put tape over the sensors to tone down the sensitivity

You just said "turn based", and every one of those is turn based. Sounds like you need to get a bit more specific.

Attached: 1521648929669.png (717x769, 608K)

I'm missing the second to last item in the first row, and the very last item, and I'm about to enter Hyrule Castle, I don't see any purple chests on the map anymore (or deku nuts, I saw you guys say that there are 21, but I just have 20)

When you enter a new screen you can take your time to get used to the beat before moving.

Attached: 1538044560065.gif (406x449, 1.4M)

Cadance a cute! I learned to love her playing the switch version, but I prefer the PCs ability to be modded, so I can have pony Cadance.

I'm also missing the first pendant and 2 heart pieces fuuuck heeelp

"Turn-based" in this instance means you control one character, and your movement, and that of your enemies, are clearly segregated into separate moments in time, with very clear deliniations for who can and can't move at any given moment. It's basically like any other standard single-player game, except you can stop moving entirely, and nobody else will move again until after you do.

MatPat and Stephanie played this game on GTLive today.

Works on my machine

Considering all the shitposting surrounding the game it's nice to see the actual thread is civil.

The only mods I have are the combined soundtrack ones, the authentic character ones (aria, cadence, dorian, etc.), better mimics, and the one that gives everyone a snazzy suit.

Wait pirating on switch is a thing now?

who gives a shit?

>indie Zelda looks better than the official link to the past remake

it's been a thing for a while.
The problem is, you need an older firmware, and Nintendo has a hard-line policy on piracy. If they catch even a whiff of custom firmware on your machine, they hard-ban it

The livestream gives a nice sneak peek of the game. MatPat and Steph’s GTLive livestreams are also very entertaining.

Please, user. I don't need the mental image of a fat neckbeard twerking right now.

>its actually a full fledged zelda game just with necrodancer mechanics for combat
WHAT THE FUCK

i fucking hate the rhythm shit

Question. What kind of bonuses do you get for keeping your rhythm combo going? And does it work in the turn based mode? N-not that I'd be casual enough to ever resort to that.

You can just turn off the rhythm mode and enjoy it as a normal, turn-based roguelike
head bobbing with the rhythm while playing is far superior

imagine the shitstorm if she got in and shovel knight didnt

>Both use shovels as primary tools
>Give them similar movesets and put both in at the same time.

that is fucking painful to watch. not only theyre obnoxiously bad at the game but they also talk about it like the gameplay is nintendo's idea

You can hack the latest firmware. You just need an earlier model Switch.

gbatemp.net/threads/switch-informations-by-serial-number-read-the-first-post-before-asking-questions.481215/

Check your serial and see if it can be hacked

Fucking shit. Not this fucking debate again.
Just talk about the game you dumb fucks

I know, right? I thought we were gonna get more instanced levels with Zelda tilesets

Marketing departments are retarded. Remember the Rick and Morty FO76 stream?

Money and ???

Glad DannyB's back in business.

Co-op games are not MatPat and Stephanie’s forte. They’re always a pleasure to watch though.

These people are horrible why are you doing this

I found some sexy Gerudo ladies and helped them out, was pretty cool

Because they’re actually cool and nice people. Their livestreams are really entertaining.

Is it as easy to play online as the 3ds yet?

Is Yea Forums really the kind of place you want to send people from to them, then?

I can't beat the archery minigame

Huh. Good point.

HELP ME REEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Do enemies not respawn on the overworld?

Is it possible to get a full set of hearts? The map doesn't show every heart piece.

user, it's spectacularly weird saving picture from a family you don't personally know someone from. I know you're disregarding societal standards and Yea Forums is the scum of the earth but get your shit together because even some things are too embarassing for this place.

these images just reminded me that ronnie killed himself
did we ever find out how he decided to an hero?

MatPat and Stephanie have a really cute family. Look at Ollie. He’s adorable.

I think I'm sitting at 100% minus a single heart piece... but I have no clue where that heart piece is.
It doesn't feel great.

I think so, I'm just missing one heart piece, but the map doesn't show where it is. fuuuuuuuuuuuuck. Also where is the first pendant/charm?

>could have beaten the game sooner but internet crash prevented the game i prepaid for from working

that said i'm 2 bosses down, it's sad it's easier but i do enjoy it.

That shit is what I'm talking about user. Cut it out.

RIP Ronnie. I believe he committed suicide in his apartment. MatPat and Stephanie found out about his death the same week that Ollie was born. That’s fucking rough.

Procedurally generated, man.
Just search your map for purple chest icons. It'll be one of those.

The difficulty comes after the initial story mode in the regular game too.

But its fun to bait thieves

I just think MatPat and Stephanie are neat.

shoot when targets are coming to your LoS, to the beat ofc.

user i know he committed suicide you fucking retard. im wanting to know HOW he did it. was it a gun? hanging? overdose?

I already got ALL the purple chests, fugggg

I thought the fact that he committed suicide in his apartment might have narrowed the list of possible methods somewhat. I don’t know exactly how he did it.

ya know sometimes it's best to not question a suicide. you might think it's a murder and then you'd go crazy in your life knowing you'd live easier thinking it was the staged suicide like everybody else did.

RIP Robin Williams.

well you better fuckin find out

I’m getting right on it, user.

Ah, it was in a dungeon shop. Okay, I think I've genuinely 100%'d it now, with a run time of a little under five hours.
Anyone know what's up with the daily challenge? Think they just haven't made/enabled any of it except the leaderboard yet?

>Anyone know what's up with the daily challenge? Think they just haven't made/enabled any of it except the leaderboard yet?
Never mind, I apparently can't into settings menus. The blank leaderboard is because nobody's actually done it yet, then.

“The LAPD coroner report stated that his body had severe injuries and trauma when it was found.”

Make of that what you will.

>we're now at a point where replayability is seen as a bad thing
Jesus fuck

thats so exceptionally and intentionally vague that i demand more evidence

I’m trying, user.

What a fucking anarchist bad ass.

YESSSSS ANOONN!!

Emulator wheb

Multiplier based damage/vision/whatever else efficiency

>discuss a game on the game board? Pfft I'll just say I pirated it, that'll show them

>Just beat the game!
>out for 12 hours
fuckin basement dweller
neck yourself

lol cringe
imagine paying for online

Okay just beat the game, pretty fun.
>Fairy notes that Cadence is surrounded by the power of the Triforce when she wakes Link/Zelda
>You need Cadence, Link, and Zelda to defeat Ganon for good
>By joining hands they're able to recreate the Triforce and grant Cadence her wish
So she had the Triforce of Power all along, right?

Unless you want your switch bricked go for it.

Power is the one showing while Cadence dramatically narrates about heroes needing a little...Extra...HELP
So maybe.

That's a pretty nifty thing then, seeing someone different from Ganon, and a hero, obtain the Triforce of Power. Cadence fits the role.

You guys think it's possible that my map is bugged? I'm missing the first charm, I have 20/21 nuts and need 1 more heart fragment, but there are no more purple chests, no nut marks and I double checked each dungeon store

Could the charm be in a blue chest?
And if you've got the other charms, and can't see a deku nut icon anywhere on the map... I guess double-check you didn't leave one deku behind in the mini-dungeon that has eight.

fuuuuuuuck the first charm is the telescope in Link's house.
But I double checked the mini deku dungeon, and, unless there is a heart piece in Hyrule Castle (which I already cleared), I give up, I just can't find the missing stuff

In BotW, Ganon and Link are both lacking pieces of the Triforce. Zelda has the whole thing.

In the original Zelda, the princess splits the Triforce of Wisdom into eight pieces and hides them. Ganon has the Triforce of Power. There is no Triforce of Courage, but Link gathers the pieces of the Triforce of Wisdom during the game.

In Zelda II, Link sets out to get the Triforce of Courage, already having Wisdom and Power. The Zelda he rescues from her magical slumber in this game isn't the same Zelda as in the first game's story, and Ganon is dead. But it is the same Link as Zelda 1.

>I give up
Nigga it's day one of the game coming out, calm your tits and take a break, come back to it refreshed. Drink some water, have a healthy snack. Do something unrelated for a bit. When you're feeling better, have another crack at it. You'll find it. Here's some on topic butt to see you through.

By the way, to the people who were complaining about tutorial shit every run, just turn it off in the options.

Sorry, I meant someone aside from the standard Link, Zelda, and Ganon with a piece. Link also obtains all three pieces in Skyward Sword, having been personally molded into a balanced state by Hylia so he could wield the full Triforce. And then Yuga in Link Between Worlds revives Ganon and hijacks him to obtain the Triforce of Power.

I just think it's neat that Cadence embodies the aspect enough to be granted the piece and a role in the story. It's a nice change of pace.

War Drum a best

What the fuck do I do in the leftmost room of Hyrule Castle? The one with the four wizrobes and a flail knight in it. I've figured that I need to get the box and use the Cane to build a bridge to the stairs, but that leaves me short one tile.

physical release when?

It's probably just because I had already played Necrodancer, but the game was so easy and everything in it so unthreatening that I got bored and had to almost force myself to finish it.
Normal enemies are a complete joke, you can ignore their patterns entirely and just zerg them since 50% of the time they will just drop hearts to heal you back up to full anyways.
The bosses, while cool, also just had way too little HP and dealt way too little damage, so things never get tense at all. The majority of them you can also just burn down before they could possibly even kill you, just like normal enemies.

Where do I find the leaf? need to beat the last statue in the trial

I like the one with the robot arm.

I just found it in a random dungeon.

Flipgates can cheese the color statues, since green ones can't hurt Link and purple ones can't hurt Zelda. They're also handy against Octavo's music attacks for the same reason.

Oh? This should help. That bugged me immensely.

There's a setting to turn on movement from the face buttons

I shot the box with an arrow to knock it off, then picked it up and threw it to the exit then shot it again and hookshotted to it

Where's the fucking physical version?
Not this digital cuck shit.

Cope, babyboomer

I just want the XCI so I can pirate it on my SX OS.
NSPs are for retards.
