But what should we do about eceleb threads? People that don't think they should be allowed on Yea Forums hate them, and people that do think they should be allowed want to talk about them without them being deleted. What makes that a problem is that the janitors don't know if they should be allowed or not, deleting and keeping them up based on their whims and personal preference.

You don't need a majority of jannies to agree on something for a thread to get deleted, you only need one. That's why you can have an eceleb general stay up for 2 hours with 400 posts and then have it suddenly deleted without warning. I guess that making an entire board isn't necessary, but some ground rules should be established with the janitors for these things to work.

That's a good point. Why aren't janitors identified? A bunch of people already hate them for deleting threads, but it's pretty fair to assume that it's just a small portion of them that fuck up constantly. If we could see which jannies were doing what, we could have much better moderation.

Honestly a board for YouTubers and other ecelebs is nessesary at this point. If we still need a board for [UNMENTIONABLE HORSE SHOW] then we need one for all of the game grump, penisjared and whatever else you can think of.

I guess Arin can be funny every once in a blue moon when he doesn't have to play the game (i.e. Sakura Spirit and Doki Doki) simply because the VN style makes it impossible to fuck up gameplay aside from skipping lines of dialogue. That fucking Mario Kart clickbait video was FAR more annoying to see EVERY FUCKING TIME I went on YouTube for a bit.

I think that there should be a board not just for ecelebs, but internet shit in general. There's not really a good place to talk about stuff like that. You could have Newgrounds threads, Youtube threads, Twitter screenshot threads, and other shit like that. It would clean up Yea Forums while still giving those people a place to go.

I found it funny in 2010. Partially because I was almost that hyped for Reach.It didn't live up to my hype or expectations sadly It was fun to laugh at myself. I don't find it funny now because it lost its charm many years ago.
