Stealth is more or less the same. Which baffles me because if you're going to put the good ending behind playing a good chunk of the game with stealth, then why wouldn't you attempt to improve it since it was easily the weakest part of the other two games.

There are two main levels where you can move around freely, the swamp and desert levels. After that, it's back to linearity.

The big problem-- even when you can move around freely, there isn't much to be gained by it. You'll gain ammo and resources but also expend them. You can get certain gun parts a little sooner but that's it.

It's pretty meh. The choices that end up saving or killing someone are lame and don't tie together. Not worth replaying like 99.99% of games these days.

Just finished it, I wish it was longer. The open world sections were great and had their own feeling to them, I just wish there was like 5 Instead of only 3. The general plot/story frame was the characters being dumb cliche that I hate, but the characters stories were entertaining to listen to.

This. Didn't really feel like going back and replaying the levels, I got what I wanted out of it. The story was good and I got the good ending, me and my waifu got our dream lake home, that's all I needed

Everything with Anna was great, everything else was okay. A lot of the dropped story content sounded pretty interesting too, like Pavel returning and eventually becoming a crew member on the Aurora.

Exodus actually had quite a lot going on, it definitely wasn't 'casualized.' Some of the AI may have been a little dumb but there was a lot of detailed inventory management to watch.

Two DLC campaigns are set to come out for the game.

After the update to the Xbox client this week the game works perfectly for me. Added bonus of running in border-less windowed mode where the original version took forever to switch tabs.

The only issue I've had is no windowed mode. Pisses me off, but the game is playable otherwise.

It's single player without replay value. Why should anyone not forgot it?

Windowed mode allows you to disable v-sync and still get no tearing since windows are triple buffered by default since Windows 8

There's nothing to really discuss. It was a decent game but a straightforward plot and satisfying conclusion. It's one of those games where you play it, enjoy it and then never think about it again aside form occasionally wishing that Anna was real and was your gf.

NPCs having long as fuck conversations is part of the series. At least they didn't pull shit like having to sit there and listen to them in order to get moral points like they did with the previous title. I like it but I'm tempted to drop it, simply because I've gotten re-hooked on Phantasy Star Online (Gamecube) and I've been playing that like crazy. I had the game set to a harder difficulty and couldn't find much ammo - which is fine, and what I wanted - but they took the lazy approach of having enemies have a billion HP, and having them one-shot you. It got annoying. I'm tempted to turn it to normal and soldier on.

That would still require using the Epic launcher to play the game which is a big no from me.

I was hyped for it and got it on release day. At launch it ran pretty bad. I had numerous crashes and bugs happen. Along with me just not liking the whole boat and train riding shtick.
I think I got 4hrs in before I gave up on it. Asked Epic for a refund which they surprisingly gave to me.

The older games had better replayabilty. Like you could do 2033 bridge level a bunch of different ways. Exodus feels samey since open world.

It being open world has nothing to do with it. Literally every encounter I had would have tons of ways to solve it. Some of the set pieces had so many ways to get it done I regularly loaded saves just to see if something cool worked, and most of the time it did.

I'll probably pay through it when I get a metro kick again in a year

Don't know about Sekiro, but Witcher had decent replayability. Not only is the main game pretty big on it's own, there's two expansions with branching concussions as well. Exodus doesn't offer variety and the story is linear. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but it just means the game isn't going to have replay value.

Normally I would agree with you but I think its intentional. There are times I would be seen no matter what because the thing I was attacking was so exposed. Usually once i got noticed by someone innthe camp the rest can spot me much more easily even at distance.
