I literally stopped playing the game before the Anti-Aqua fight. No, fuck off game, there's no way I'm "saving" Aqua by bludgeoning her with my keyblade, that has literally never worked. I actually tried just taking Anti-Aqua's hits or something, but nah. No dice. No "press triangle to huge Aqua" like Kairi did to heartless Sora.

Throughout the entire series it's clear that the keyblade does many things, but it doesn't "quell anger." When Terra tried it against Eraqus Eraqus just fucking died. When Aqua made the decision to use her keyblade against Ventus and Terra it was after she got a message from BOTH OF THEM to "please, put an end to me."

In short the keyblade is a fucking weapon, and if the game is not going to have Sora, the fucking friendship king, bring back a fallen ally to the light via non-violent means, something is probably up.

I tried playing my friend’s copy and, man, this combat was piss easy and the worlds weren’t that impressive either. Went back to replay KH1 and, surprisingly, really enjoyed it. Nostalgia aside, the music and world design was awesome, and the game itself did a great job of immersing the player from the outset. Tarzan’s world is fucking BRILLIANT. You couldnt just steamroll every boss like in KH3 (at least, for me, the fire twirler and Cerberus were tough when underleveled). However I do think world design got really sloppy/rushed at the end because neverland was an actual joke of a level; you’re just walking around a few nondescript rooms on a boat.

Well there is NG+ where all your keyblades carry over and there is Critical mode now, so you can steamroll everything with Ultima.
I am waited for Re:mind to come out before starting a critical run.

It was very based. Playing that shit as a kid was so fucking exciting. There’s something thrilling about leaving everything behind (parents, bedroom, etc) and being thrust into a new world when you’re a kid; it’s an experience you can’t really recapture as an adult. Some experiences are simply better for children. Ah well.

But from the trailer we can infer that the DLC will function like FM, so it will add new shit over the course of the entire game instead of just one new section that is dedicated to the DLC.

And KH1 is easy when you replay it. As a kid it was hard. KH3 is easier than KH1.

I have 5 separate saves just for my first playthrough. It's always nice to just load one up and play a specific section or boss.
