Give up. No matter how many times you guys try to push it as steve, it wont stick. Steve was a character that genuinely no single person wanted, while sans has a genuine fanbase. That and he was disputing directly with banjo, a fan favorite. He was actually funny and a new meme around. Sans meme is already old and no longer many people find it that funny anymore.

The fandom isnt as huge as it used to be back in the day, and nowadays it's the kind of "old fad that everyone got over already" just like homestuck but the difference is that its fans here still think it's 2015.

I feel that as much the fandom has influence in people's judgement of the game, its popularity and bias/shill it got riding in the mother series impact, influenced people to overhype it to the point I cant think in any other game that can come to be this overrated
