I used to have Discord before I realized how boring and dull it actually is. It's the same shit everyday. Started 2016 and quit this year. Big game servers have no soul; the main channel is filled to the brim with users who join, say 2 words and then leave. I used to be part of a server that had a tightly knit community before Server Discovery launched and newfags started coming in at full speed doing the exact same things I described; join, shitpost, leave. There's no sense of "community" in Discord anymore. After that, the new ToS rolled out to partnered servers and you couldn't even say "retard" anymore, even if it was banter, which it almost always was. The only reason you would want to stay is if you actually made friends with some people from a server and created your own sideserver with them. But not even that could keep me in it. Eventually I went off the grid, deleted everything and started anew here.

What exactly does that have to do with anything? I said I left Discord because I didn't like the community. Although you are 100% right that the people I talked to knew too much about me, namely face, voice, name, age, location, etc. I felt refreshed when I left.
