and instead went for some cheap knockoff made by a literal who negro. sounds like more affirmative action to me. all shadowfags get is some lame kickstarter bullshit.I want my immersive, triple AAA shadowrung RPG!
Why didnt cyberpunk use the shadowrun universe?

pathetic
Answer: The world is not ready for a good shadowrun videogame
But it already happened
>MFW nobody ever mentions Bubblegum Crisis
I think its about time they do another good shadowrun game no.
there was like 3 games already. they tried they just sucked ass at it
they were all kickstarter shit built on a shoestring budget. I want a triple AAA game done by real devs with a big fat budget.
Cyberpunk 2020 released a year before Shadowrun, dummy. I would love a big budget Shadowrun game though.
how did a nigger come up with a role play game? I just assumed he stole it from shadowrun.
IIRC The people who hold the Shadowrun license are total asshats about giving it out to big developers.
To be honest he's smart for a nigger
Basically all entertainment back then was blatant theft. Every person doing cyberpunk from around that era stole from Neuromancer.
Licensing issues. The people who have the SR license right now are onions as hell and likely deliberately chose some indie douchebags.
If CP2077 succeedes I hope it sparks interest in the genre, who know AAA shadowpunk game might happen in our timeline
I wish there was sequel to this game but bigger and more better
You want a laugh, go look at William Gibsons twitter account. It's hilarious. He's obsessed with Trump and when I last checked (a few months ago) he tweeted a total of 27 times about Trump working with Russia in a single fucking day.
yeah it's a good setting, it lends itself to infinite amount of good stories, I even enjoyed the harebrained turn based ones for what they are
but a good tps or even mmo could be good, even though it should focus on smaller scale quests/storilines, but then again there wasn't ever a very good shadowrun game nor mmo
well, buddy, what type of bubblegum crisis game would you like to see? I think it is too niche to ever make it very big
>Agency is a forthcoming science fiction novel by William Gibson, to be released on January 21, 2020.[1]
>It is a 'sequel and a prequel'[2] to his previous novel The Peripheral (2014), reusing the time travel technology from the novel to explore an alternative 2017 where Hillary Clinton won the 2016 Presidential Election.[2]
I like most of his works, I enjoyed bridge more than sprawl, but I think he's losing it, lads
>but I think he's losing it
Most definitely.
what's bridge about? i read the sprawl stuff already
Before Trump won and gave him something new to obsess over, he was busy hounding the Cyberpunk 20XX and Shadowrun license holders for butchering and bastardizing his visions. Seriously, look up what he's said about them. They're the most "Old man yells at cloud" rants you'll ever see.
I like Shadowrun and it doesn't bother me how much he hates it, I think it's kind of funny actually.
Oh I know. My point is he's a senile clown.
Search his twitter for 'Trump' or 'Russia' and be prepared to see hundreds of thousands of tweets. It would be funny if it was actually embarrassing, and the weird thing is that most people are sucking him off in his replies. I might be the odd one though, since I don't get Americans and their obsession with Trump. It seems to me that nothing has really changed over there.
the best part of BC was that police chad leon trying to save the day himself, regardless of how badly outmatched he was by the dame's vastly superior suits and usually the villain of the day's tech too
it's a more 'believable' cyberpunk story than sprawl, the cyberspace and nanotech are not as advanced
based user
he was my favourite from the show(s)
