I wish that had physics closer to THPS2. THPS4 had a better feel, I think.
Skyrim
OP here, I still like THPS3 more but...
People will say THPS2 didn't have reverts, but vert tricks give you more points anyway so it's still pretty balanced. I did most of the score challenges in 2 with mainly vert tricks.
You move too fast in THPS3. It's hard to control sometimes. THPS4 felt tighter, closer to how THPS2 did.
As someone who prefers vert skating the Revert was an excellent addition, though.
thps 2 was the best imo
bump
Let me say this: Gearbox ported THPS3 retardedly to PC.
They don't even understand basic controller implementation (it ONLY reads the analog stick, it can't read the d-pad/hat switch; you need a way to switch the d-pad and analog stick or you HAVE to use the analog stick).
Thanks, Randy.
THPS2 having no revert led to me just launching myself forward in the air so I can at least continue the combo with a grind or manual. The hangar having those grind rails well above the quarter-pipe was great for that shit.
Was just playing this earlier today, still the best. Canada and Airport best levels
Saints Row 2
It's a materpiece and will always be a masterpiece. It's better and distant from any GTA or any other criminal simulator sandbox game out there. If they didn't have to release this one almost at the same time at GTA 4 release, it would have been an absolute bomb
Also it doesn't fucking work on Windows 10
Thanks Randy for making me use PCSX2
I wanna play as Doomguy though
>Twenty Nineteen
>Not playing THUGPro
I played THPS3 on a Gravis Gamepad Pro and it had no problem reading my d-pad.
has been literally outclassed by THUG/2/THAW
No, that isn't a problem. I got it running on Windows 10 without much heartache.
nobody ever posts this timeless classic.
feelsbadman :(
THUG 1 is fine but I prefer the classic style gameplay. THUG 2 with its edgy jackass shit and FREAKOUTS!!!! sucked. American Wasteland is trash but I think it's the last game with the updated THPS3 engine so it's still very playable.
THUG2 had an amazing assortment of levels, THAT'S why it excels.
I recently played THG2 on my PSP, and the levels felt too cramped for my taste. Coincidentally I enjoyed the PSP-exclusive levels Sumo made, due to their scale/size compared to the core levels, and Neversoft probably agreed since they lifted a couple of them for American Wasteland.
have they fixed the crashing bug yet?
i've played 200 hours of thug pro and i don't think it has ever crashed. try reinstalling.
last time I played, almost year ago, it was very unstable for me and it kept crashing at random. Also all lobbies were those autistic ones where people do same braindead infinite combo for hours and if you bail you have to wait for that one guy to finish who probably is using macro to keep it going forever
kek very fucking true. that shit sucks. and it also crashes on me
