PS3 obscure good shit

Complete garbage

>really good hand to hand combat system
>if you skill your weapons high enough it's an extremely decent 3rd person shooter
>top notch stealth mechanics

It has obviously low budget and the graphics are below average for the time, but the pure gameplay, the decision making and the dialogue are better than in >90% of other rpgs.

One problem with the last gen was it slots between the death of AA development and the rise of higher budget indie games so there really aren't a lot of "hidden gems".

Same devs as Yakuza. Hope they do a Binary Domain 2 someday, but I heard it sold like ass.

It was marketed as just another Gears of War clone and came out at the time where no one but Japan and a few weebs bought the Yakuza games, so they were a unknown niche unlike today (where Y6 sold like a million copies outside of Japan).

If the same team would bring it out today it would sold way better.

Demon's Souls. It's not exactly obscure but still the best and least played Souls games.

I bought it as a blind purchase at discount and it genuinely surprised me. Its decent. It lacks in the graphical department, but everything else is enjoyable. The options have consequences on who you face. You can skip entire boss segments just by choosing the right dialogue options.

This list should legitimately make anyone question if the PS4 is even worth buying. Its library of notable titles is tragically small compared to this. The PS3 generation looks "amazing" in comparison to the PS4 generation.
