2) It was strictly better than Dark Missionary in like 5% of cases where physical raid damage exists. So it was made just magical so there was no disparity

You have to actively be doing roulettes. I've come across at least one in every other leveling roulette this week, and it's all on players that have nothing else leveled. They're also terrible players.

If SE were sane they'd have limited jump pots to only classes of a role you've already taken to 60+, but that would be less money in their pocket.

Doing six of the beastmen quests give half a level a day, and the roulettes should easily give you the other half.

I'm not fully certain on what causes it, that said tall races have the mani-pedi megapack mod to fix it, and some body mods for them might also include fixes by default, not sure. But shapely doesn't have a mani-pedi mod equivalent sadly.

You get the xp up earrings instantly after redeeming them(a rare thing, especially since they go up to 70) and the other expacs too including Heavensward. It's not long to go so it's better to just do what you want as a trial until Shadowbringers comes out and you get everything up to and including it.

DRK has the only job quests that pertain to and affect the WoL as a character.

WHM is probably the most straight forward class to play and heal with.

any role is fine dude, the jobs within that role are where the discussion about nublet friendliness is, for healer white mage is the easiest
