I know that the national dex was removed in Gen 7 and that really disappointed me but you could still obtain every single Pokemon. I've bought Pokemon games every gen except 3 and I won't be buying this game. And if the decision to not allow you to obtain all Pokemon is permanent then I'll never buy another one. Z moves are fucking garbage, just like Dynamax. Mega Evolutions are only cool because we get to see fan favorite Pokemon in enhanced forms. Everything else about mega evolution fucking blew. The only gimmick that was worth while is the shadow pokemon from Colosseum. If they leaned into that more and made shadow pokemon more feral and pissed it'd be cool, but then the games would look more like dogfighting and they don't want that to tarnish their image.

Also, Z-moves being gone is a good thing, they actually didn't brought anything good outside of some shenanigans with Z-Conversion, but that's about it.
