I'm not the biggest FF fan, but was interested to see what they would showcase in regards to the FF7 remake.
Not too thrilled about them releasing it in parts. Especially considering that the remake was announced - what, 3-4 years ago? - and they've not even begun planning anything more than the first 3rd of the entire game.
That's pretty damn alarming. There's something seriously wrong with Square Enix's management / development circles in development crawls along at such an excruciatingly slow pace. I get quality and all that, but this was announced in 2016(?), and all they're going to give people is a third of the game.
I've never paid close attention to SE's in-house dev studios, but if I were a huge FFVII fan, I would be pretty concerned over this.
