7 is too short and 9 belongs to a different class. People forget that "hero" in DQ games isn't just a title, it's an rpg class like a "cleric" or a "martial artist" that has certain equipment and unique abilities associated with it. All the smash DQ heroes belong to that class, so it makes sense for them to play the same. The main dude from 2 for example is a warrior with no spells at all, 5 is a monster hunter - a hybrid class that's closer to a cleric and 9 has no hero class at all, letting the hero switch between other classes at will (that's actually my favorite part of 9, finally my MC can be a martial artist instead of a lame warrior+ like the other heroes)

Luminary is absolutely the most cuckable out of all of them.

First three games form the Erdrick trilogy, 4-6 are the Zenithian trilogy, all the games after that are standalones with disconnected settings and 11 once again ties into 3.
11 might just be a book that 3's mc is reading, explaining the origin of the title "Erdrick". It might or might not be real.

When they were showing off the skins, they made the reveal of 3 incredibly dramatic and important, almost as much as the base skin reveal.
