I did it. It's got some improvements and some drawbacks compared to 7
+Driver support is there. It has to be. The 3.1 driver (all my ports are 3.1) ONLY exists for 10, so I was forced to switch for this reason.
+The file operations manager is slick as hell.
- You can't customize the system font anymore. No more switching to Hymmnos as a default font for me. Someone tell me if that's in 1903 or something since that's priority one.
+Incredibly easy to crack. Easier than 7, with less limitations. People who still keep flying the ACTIVATE WINDOWS colours are supreme retards
-Telemetry is in by default but can be removed with powershell really easily. Windows 7 doesn't have it by default but adds them in in a bunch of updates after 2011 when Microsoft joined PRISM.
-It seems to handle memory management worse, but it might just be my settings. Most people report it's better.
+Games do in fact get a few FPS improvement per game.Nothing major, like 10FPS or so.

I didn't upgrade, but had to take 10 because I had no choice. At least I got a pro licence for the price of a burger.

I, too, love having input lag forced on all windowed games.

Other than that, it's clearly superior, but this vsync/fps fuckery is an atrocity.

My main problem with 10 is that it always tries to take the lead and do shit for you. I don't want you update at this moment. I don't want you to synch my bullshit to 9 different places. I don't want to ask Cortana.

But once you turn all the shit off its pretty nice, until it asks again.

Windows 10 might just be the ugliest current OS. I would instantly believe if you told me that no UI designers at all are working at MS right now. If they actually do work there, they're complete talentless hacks.

Windows defines simplicity as without unnecessary additions or modifications. It ships software as released by the original developers (upstream) with minimal distribution-specific (downstream) changes: patches not accepted by upstream are avoided, and Windows downstream patches consist almost entirely of backported bug fixes that are obsoleted by the project's next release.
