Cyberpunk 2077 is so generic, it doesn’t bring anything new to the table!

>cyberpunk 2077 is so generic, it doesn’t bring anything new to the table!

Neither did Skyrim, yet everyone loves it. Who cares?

Not true. It brings trannies to the table.

>cute from a guy who got triggered that they shot black people
y-yeah i think I'll listen to someone else

We'll have to wait until release to see what it's like.
Right now the entire conversation is full of social justice grifters who want to talk about trans-sexuals.

Cyberpunk looks awful.

Attached: cybercucked2077.png (1634x387, 39K)

Also, on top of that, Cyberpunk 2077 adds an entirely new and mostly unseen setting to video games. Meanwhile Skyrim is like legit the most generic fantasy “”””””rpg””””””” ever

This guy is talking about the old gameplay and hating on it. I, and everyone, loved it and just got more hyped up. The world seems awesome and the gameplay too

So if it’s only shits with bad taste like that who get triggered now, then I can rest calmly

Not that I can disagree, I really do dislike the formulaic script so many open world games are following, Ubisoft games are the best example of this.

Thing is, how do we innovate on it?
I'd actually like a game that convincingly *subtracts* some features, remove vision cones from guards, remove contrived "hacking" sequences, remove throwing a rock to make somebody turn their head...

Attached: 1437532201462.png (1050x730, 183K)

This. How would you innovate the mission sequence? WHAT game has such an innovative mission system?
If none, then WHY are you hating on cyberpunk 2077 precisely, and not just the industry in general?

And what’s wrong with that system if it’s packaged in a nice storyline and great dialogue, gameplay, graphics and world?

>Neither did Skyrim, yet everyone loves it.
Never thought I’d ever be defending Todd, but at least Skyrim had mods. CP2077 already has been confirmed it won’t.

Whaaaat? What?

Seriously?

We will probably have to have innovations in other areas, before we can have innovations in mission scripting.
And not new ways of making water shimmer or stopping that thing where rain clips through the ceiling.

It will be in AI if it's anywhere, like AI dynamically reacting to actions rather than devs scripting out every other scenario they can think of and be bothered to implement. But that in itself requires new innovations further.

But improving AI doesn’t change the mission system of go to A kill B and bring C or whatever. In the end any mission is objective-based

>Who cares?
you do, OP

Yes, but it can change how things pan out and add a new layer to the game which is what we're after.

Eg: Show up naked to mission brief
>"why you wearing no clothes?"
Or do dumb shit like jump up and down on everything
>get reaction
Nowadays you can do whatever and characters are static because programming in reactions to everything is just ridiculous.

As for the "go here to [x]" forumla, well as players we generally want that, or a choice between "go to [y] or [z] instead"

>Neither did Skyrim

yes it did, mountains.

>Skyrim
>everyone loves it
WOAH MOTHER FUCKER!

You loved it cause you were underage at the time. Only underage, chronic virgin /r/editards loved skyrim.

This is bait, right?

You’re actually correct, I was 9 when it came out lol

AI reaction to character changes are already a thing bro, look at Kingdom Come. How you look will actually change the gameplay in Cyberpunk 2077

zoomer

Try morrowind. It's difficult to get past the aged graphics and the constant attack wiffs when you're low level, but once you put some time into it, it can be quite mindblowing exactly how much effort they actually put into one game. You'll never see that kind of shit ever again. Especially not from bethesda. They figured out the average retard can't see past shiny graphics, so they don't bother with that kind of effort anymore.

I tried Morrowind and it’s the most overrated game of all times. Awful shit combat system and skill system (which was continued in oblivion, god I hate that jumping agility grind for example), storyline obscured by the clumsiness of the gameplay and graphics which were already outdated by the time the game got released

>futuristic city is new, unseen
holy fuck you shills are delusional

stop making open world games for one

>futuristic city is new, unseen
Show me a game that isn’t shitty meh deus ex that implements a vast open world with rpg elements and plenty of detail and side activities that is set in a futuristic cyberpunk city

>Awful skill system
>I tried Morrowind
Doubt.

That was the best part of morrowind.

>which was greatly nerfed in oblivion
fix'd

>I hate grinding
You don't really... 'get' rpgs, do you?

>graphics which were already outdated by the time the game got released
Not wrong. But that's just the way shit was back then. Fallout's graphics where shit for it's time too. But that was a time when people prioritized things properly.

>graphics
>gameplay
Pick one.

>fallouts graphics where shit at the time too, it’s just the way things were back then

It’s just the way Bethesda has always been*
FTFY

Dragons

Cyberpunk WILL have mods, just not at launch

>It’s just the way gamebyro has always been
Double fix'd.

But yeah I agree. Bethesda has been riding that dusty old cock for far too long now. They really need to jump to a newer engine, rather than continuously putting new layers of scotch tape on gamebyro over and over. At it's best, it still looks like somewhat older Unreal games.

stop posting your own garbage

and from what I understand, you thought they would make a different game from the Witcher which is fucking retarded since W3 is unanimously the greatest game of all time and people just want more of it

>muh promised visceral combat

No they didn't because nobody cares about that pointless shite. Go play fortnite and platinum garbage you lonely incel

This

>"stop posting your own garbage"
>samefags to agree with himself

Yeah okay nervous retard. Literally no one thinks like you

Attached: retard.png (1821x648, 64K)

you can't shame me for not buying your game shill. headshots dont kill people, I will never buy it. by the way the witcher is shit.

You're still not awake yet. Have you been getting our signals?

Wow how long did that take you? I guess you have experience with samefagging

The brackets in (You) cut the line of the underline. In your edit they do not.

Pathetic, you got murdered again.

It's too early to tell how the came will turn out, which is why people should not pre-order the game.

>I, and everyone,
You, and everyone, need a better marketing strategy

People should preorder it in order to help the producers and give them more money

What the fuck are you talking about?

There. I responded. Now look at your (you).

What is the reason Cyberpunk 2077 triggers the worst autistic shitposters on Yea Forums?

You attempt at photoshop had a mistake. A normal (You) would cut the underline. Yours does not. Fucking use your brain retard

>photoshop
>any image editor
lol

>remove vision cones from guards
Huh? 360 degree vision is preferable, why?

>remove contrived "hacking" sequences
I don't even know what games you're referring to. Only open world games I can think of with hacking are the reboot Fallouts. It doesn't seem endemic to the genre.

>remove throwing a rock to make somebody turn their head
Again, what games do this? Far Cry? I wish more open world games had AI that actually reacted to what you are doing instead of just following scripts or rushing you the second they become aware.

Far Cry, for all the milking ubisoft has done with the series, is one of the few open world games that actually uses the fact that it's an open world to it's advantage. Being able to sneak or shoot or mortar or parachute your way in to the fight are all viable options. They don't funnel you into linear dungeons for every single mission. They allow the player to plan their approach and execute it as they see fit.

I'm buying this game just to piss off the trannies

>jumping agility grind
Jumping literally gets you places faster. It's the opposite of grinding.

Trannies and sjws BTFO! They thought they were going to get a freak like them but instead got a white male and Keanu Fucking Reeves.
BASED CD PROJECT RED

Not to mention base running speed in oblivion is almost faster than skyrim sprinting

And you can actually level it up to be substantially faster, not to mention you could buff or enchant armor to make your character fast like sonic, another area of depth taken out of the game

Being able to jump to certain places added depth to the game even if it wasn't utilized to its fullest

Skyrim is the blandest most dogshit action game I've ever played, none of the fun action mechanics of an action game and none of the role playing elements to hook you into your character, pure bland trash

Removing the movement skills/abilities as the series went on is baffling to me. Levitation is what actually made Morrowind's environment feel 3 dimensional. You could have dungeons that were highly vertical precisely because levitation was an option. Both of it's sequels leave you stuck on the ground and I truly believe this strongly contributes to everything feeling so similar.

Why they'd leave in counter intuitive skills like armors, I've no idea. It's a use to improve system. Your skills should all be actives, not passives. That Skyrim brings in perks and a sprint toggle makes the cutting of athletics even stranger, given they finally had the base systems needed to give athletics real gameplay applications outside of getting you places faster.
