Reducing Ganondorf to a regular guy who got haphazardly picked to house Demise's curse is disingenuous and insulting to Ganondorf by changing him to just that. Ganon(dorf), and all the evil in these games (Malladus, Bellum, etc) are extensions of Demise's curse. It's silly to say Ganon is corrupted by Demise because he doesnt exist prior. It turned Ganondorf the mere, helpless puppet of some evil god's tantrums and it dehumanized Zelda even further by enforcing even more forced plot device bullshit onto an already-distant character portrayal we've seen before in numerous games.
