Where's the lie???
If you weebs had any common sense you would take everything MattvsJapan is telling you and apply that to learning Mandarin.
Where's the lie???
brb studying jp
>studing chinese for cultural heritage
>not for business
gay
I don't study Chinese or any language 'cause I'm not aiming to please these supposed future Chinese overlords, I speak English and everyone learns my language because they're my bitch
China produces nothing but liveleak videos.
Read through all of this and start immersing tonight faggots.
I'm sure one day you'll manage to read that untranslated manga all by yourself user.
You're describing an SJW on the left, a real virgin weeb would defend anything the japs do and love it despite not knowing all the kanji and not having a jap gf.
>MattvsJapan
I don't know who this zoomer tuber is, and I don't want to know.
The only JLPT N4 expert I know is Nukemarine, who used to be active in the learning community well over a decade ago, releasing learning materials and shit. I remember, because I saw his posts the first time I tried to learn Japanese.
Many, many years later, I saw his channel, and watched him struggle with N3 level Japanese. It's crazy to think people like this exist, but what's even crazier is that beginners take advice from people like this.
OP here. Lil' note for the mods. This IS related to video games. Many of the people on this board are using the AJATT method, a method of learning Japanese, because they love Japanese games/anime. I'm making this thread to show all these anons how they can apply this to Chinese if they so desire.
More posts in a bit.
Thanks. Plz no delete.
It's for personal use and not business so I don't care. You're all slant eyes to me but some of you put out good stuff.
>learning Mandarin.
youtube.com
Nukemarine doesn't know what the fuck he's talking about. He also quit for years and didn't pick it back up until recently. Mattvsjapan is fluent in Japanese and you can see in the video posted above a Japanese man nitpicking his Japanese. The man describes his Japanese as near perfection. The AJATT method works, but it should be applied to Chinese because Japan is going to be the west 2.0 in the next few decades
I am proudly monolingual. There should be a one world language, and it should be English because it's the most prevalent in popular culture and the business world. I don't really need to advocate for my philosophy because it's slowly happening regardless. The future is English. Hacks have been doomsaying about Mandarin for decades, it ain't gonna happen. The internet made sure of that.
I used my shitty Japanese to help some tourists here in commiefornia the other week. Shit was weird. They were surprised that I knew any at all.
>The man describes his Japanese as near perfection.
He's being polite. I can hear all the problems he's describing, they're extremely grating.
This guy might well be fluent in terms of comprehension, but his production needs some work.
So what about Khatzumoto's Japanese? youtube.com
>the coding thread from earlier tonight was so good that people are now taking the Japanese sperging all over Yea Forums
Very, very nice.
This. Don't do it guys.
It's miles better. I still wouldn't use him as a study source, but this is a pretty decent level of competency.
Pitch accent has to be the hardest part of learning Japanese. It's like no one even knows it exists and just get caught up on Kanji
The Chinese are quite literally the WORST people I've had to deal with. I would rather deal with all the blacks, hispanics, and white soccer moms combined at my job rather than the Chinese
Have you read AJATT?
This is a stupid opinion. I'm not saying I don't respect your opinion or that you're wrong in some way, I just don't understand how anybody feels prejudice towards Asians.
It's one of the reasons I just don't give a flying fuck about production. The vast, vast majority of gaijins I've seen are just absolutely awful.
I read the first page and laughed. If you're completely fucking autistic, maybe that shit works. Anyone sane would be better off with something normal.
>Respects China's history and customs
>Of being dominated by foreign invaders for 90% of their history
I don't hate the Chinese, I just hate dealing with them. They are just generally the worst customers the clinic I work at has.
I like both Japanese and Chinese people but I don't want to go to Asia, so I just make friends with the second/third generation types that already live in my country and speak English better than me. Best of both worlds :)
