Wow, you really got a good lookin mainframe

i've spent over 1k hours in 2
i beat the new DLC a couple days ago
i'm starting to regret having pre-ordered.
axton best boy

Haha me too guys! I can't wait to register on Epic Games Store™ to buy Borderlands 3™. It really is the best platform for television games.

Why theres also game like Fornite™ there too! Everybody like Fortnite™

I'm the only human being in this world that whole heartedly enjoyed the presequel.

AMA.

I like space and Timothy is best Boy

how? the pacing was garbage
case in point, introducing the Grinder then making all of the story missions hour-long hauls with no Fast Travels back to Concordia so you could actually utilize it

I liked the space setting because of my autism and laser guns were pretty cool to use. Corrosive lasers MVP. Also the gravity slam and o2 packs were a neat little addition.

>exaggerated aussie accents
>space lesbian constantly reminds you that she's gay
>long periods of walking for a short fight as opposed to bl2 short walk for long firefight
But yeah I did enjoy low gravity/extra mobility and the skill trees were dope

>turret character
>the best at anything

There were also gems like these.

They also mocked people who believed in border control and called them racist

I'll be dead honest though, the dealmaker for me was when they released the doppelganger. His skill tree and VA lines are top notch.

Of course, the hamfisted politics, how could I forget?

It's just disappointing parts of a good game was hiding in all that abundance of shit.

Best at collecting dust, never touching him again. Horribly lame and boring. Siren and mechro are and always will be the best

The Pre-Sequel feels like Anthony Burch saw all the criticism to his writing and thought:
>They want BAD writing? I'll show them BAD WRITING!
Except the thing is he probably thinks his writing is good, which makes it even more baffling but explains why he'd double down if he thought he was just writing twice as good.

whats so good about him?

ATTENTION ALL UNITS

I haven't done a play through of him yet. I'm not much of a fan of action skills that use pets like deathtrap or axton/rolands turret. I have heard that he's fun to play though so maybe I'll give him a shot.

FEMINISM IS BADASS

Doesn't this situation kinda mirrors Neil Druckmann with The Last of Us?

Like how he's doubling down on the SJW bullshit since uncharted.

I literallly just beat the pre sequel since I have the game for free on the ps4. It was......ok to go through with friends. I will try Borderlands 2 next. Will it feel like a step down since it came before. Also why does this series call boss encounters raids aren't raids more then just 1 boss fight?

Of all the issues with (I actually forgot its name for a moment there) Battleborn, this line isn't much of an offender. He's saying it after killing a female character because he just loves killing people and feminism means he can kill MORE people.

The thing about Burch is we know that he was a sex pest who would lie to women so they would sleep with him, promising them roles at Gearbox/Riot Games and the like. His doubling down was a kind of "thou dost protest too much" kind of deal, where he was writing these things in a clear attempt to take heat off himself.
>I can't be a sex fiend who tricks women, I'm a feminist ally!

Handsome as fuck. Also using money to act as a power up, calling forth digital bros to lend a hand, and shock wristlasers every 20 seconds is pretty cool.

He's actually really unreliable playing him as a pet guy, because his cooldown for that is suuuper low, and the digiJacks tend to serve as AI distractors more than sweepers. The community will meme you into speccing into his green and blue talent trees, but I find the red talent tree to be the most fun risk-reward style.

>The thing about Burch is we know that he was a sex pest

Neil Cuckmann's hiding something isn't he?
I bet he's a massive rapist or whatever.

Nah, Druckmann is just a Jew.

The presequel has better skill trees and level scaling but besides that bl2 is far superior in just about every way. There are normal bosses in this game but there are also extremely difficult endgame bosses designed to be taken on by 4 players called raid bosses. It is possible to solo them though with drastically varying degrees of difficulty depending on who you're playing as. For example with the right grenade, the bore skill and enough practice zero can oneshot hyperius the invincible.

Thanks user I might just try him out

which characters are the best in BL 2? I used Nisha in pre sequel but I am open to any play style

kreig. dont fal for the melee build meme. go hellfire build and set the World on fire.

If you're talking about most fun it's tied between melee krieg and melee zero. If you're talking about min maxing and most op at endgame salvador. If you're talking about easiest salvador. They're all fun, hell even axton can be really fun if you do a tediore build. Gaige is easy mode for levels 0-30 but isn't as op as endgame salvador. Krieg is the most counterintuitive charcter to play and his melee build only really starts to truly shine after you get release the beast. You can't go wrong with maya, she has arguably the best cc in the game with phaselock and a nice mix of dps and survivability focused skills.

If you liked Nisha you might like zero. He's also a glass cannon and his two main builds are sniping and melee focused. Shotgun/pistol builds can also work really well on him though, especially if you abuse bore.

Isn't anarchist Gaige the easiest?

I think I'm starting to get Stockholm syndrome for Claptrap. Playing through the pre sequel with a friend and he (they) are the least annoying character so far. It also helps thinking about how much the voice actor loathes randy pitchford every time he talks.

Anarchy gaige does insane damage but you have to play aggressively at close range.

Yes, with the exception of the third playthrough where youre level 50+. After a certain point with salvador you basically just hold down the left mouse button constantly and fill the screen with particle effects. With gaige you're not as tanky as salvador and if you're specced into discord (which you should because its a great skill) then you have to manage anarchy stacks if they get too high too your liking.

can't wait for borderlands 3 where randy pitchfork takes the BADASS and FUNNY to the next level
