Gona get it on switch but I never played a dragon quest game before. Love the final fantasy games, really enjoyed 4. Are these games more of an old school rpg feel of the final fantasy games (1 to 6) or the more modern ones(7 to 10)?

I list those because anything after besides 12 isnt worth mentioning and those are the only real rpg's I have played besides pokemon and suikoden 3 and 4.

A few more big things, the Japanese version apparently lets you transfer over saves from PS4 and 3DS, Transmoging is a thing now, new character that looks like android 21 is added and is related to mini medals, you can forge anywhere, when in battle and in the free movement mode the characters will move around and say various lines, they do something similar if you stand around in the overworld, 4 to 5 hours of new story about all the other party members, you can turn on and off the noises the hero makes like grunts and panting, and all the 3DS exclusive areas were redone to look better in this version.
Yeah, I was shocked they didn't do this yet for the other DQ Switch games.

I'm actually playing through the game right now since my brother bought it for me on PC last Christmas. Fucking loving it, and will probably buy the Switch version sometime down the line. What a good game this is, it's my first time playing DQ with the exception of playing DQ8 ages ago, but I stopped playing that because it seemed very grindy. I'm probably going to have to go back to it after finishing 11 though. What a comfy ass game.
