I think my favorite part is that after Sever died in chapter 3, Torna seemingly realized that Malos was going to be completely fucking useless until he got his Monado back, so they didn't even bother to have him resonate with another Blade and all he does is stand around in the background without a weapon while everyone else fights.

XC1 has a better first half, but the second half is on a constant spiral downhill. XC2 is the opposite, with the first half being pretty shit but the second half (minus the ending 'twist') being pretty damn good.

And while I will say Shulk > Rex, Shulk isn't particularly great himself, again moreso in the second half than the first. The rest of the casts are pretty evenly split, though XC2 has better antagonists.

They're pretty much blushy-crushy over each other in no time at all. Instead of gaining feelings for each other over time due to a number of meaningful and changing interactions, it's more "He's kind and heroic so she likes him, and she's loving and caring so he likes her."

I don't feel like Pyra really gets that, since even though we're told that she shares Mythra's memories as 'part' of her, she wasn't the one shown experiencing any of it.

Pyra/Mythra and Rex's romance is a simple boy meets girl love story. There is really no need to make it a complicated one since Rex's optimism and willingnesz to do the right thing was exactly what both Pyra and Mythra needed after Torna. Personally, I believed that the acceptance at the cliffs was when they had truly fallen in love with Rex and everything prior to that was them simply being grateful.

Her VA did a good job, Hell, the English dub is great aside from Rex and Pyra/Mythra who are mediocre

You appear to have saved and reposted an image from a mobile device without checking for if it has been compressed or not. Just look at that graininess and desaturation! Whoops! Did you know, phoneposting measurably reduces the quality and fidelty of images circulated across the Internet? This is because opening large images on a phone redirects to a resized image that is capped at x1024 and converted to .jpg! If the user downloads these images without checking the url, they will be getting the converted image, not the original! Once these inferior images are reposted by the phoneposter, and saved by another, they lose their m.jpg tag, which is a primary indicator of their origin and the malicious act perpetrated by the phoneposter!

Phoneposting is already poor form due to its pernicious effect on the post quality and culture of this imageboard. If you must use your mobile device, please check your image urls before downloading them! If you see the "m", remove it and launch the page. If you get a 404, replace ".jpg" with ".png" instead. It's foolproof!

Coulda used a lore compendium like previous non-blade games.

BOTW sacrificed most of the traditional Zelda elements, those that made Zelda what it is and became more akin to a generic open world "YOU CAN GO ANYWHERE" slog. Problem is that after the novelty wears off you realize the content is very shallow.

The artbook was one place where I'd really wished they would've expanded on the lore a bit.

I don't see Mythrafags as much unless they are either trying (and failing) to compete with Pyrafags or posting art, and Pyrafags are just standard obsessive waifufags. In terms of which are the most outspoken I'd say it's Niafags >= Pyrafags > Mythrafags > everyone else, which makes sense as there aren't many others except for a few Moragfags.
