All Nintendo games belong to one of two genres: the Bing Bing Wahoo and the Party Game.
Nintendo games which are primarily single-player typically fall into the Bing Bing Wahoo genre. Examples of this genre include the Mario series, the Legend of Zelda series, and the Metroid series. Nintendo games which are primarily multiplayer fall into the Party Game genre; examples include the Mario Party series and the Super Smash Brothers series. I also classify some low-effort single player games, such as Super Mario Run and Breath of the Wild as a part of the Party Game genre.
