>no switch emulator
user...

you know you can pirate on switch with a paperclip right?

Yes, but mustard race faggots can’t play it.

Yuzu is a thing user.
It even Perfectly emulates a few games.
It's been in development for like a year.

is the emu working yet? Last I heard it was pretty buggy and only kinda worked for some games.

>mfw realizing my copy of BotW is on Wii U
>if there is any cross-save feature I'm fucked

How does it feel to live inside a bubble?

It's making some good progress but it's still focused mainly on Mario Odyssey, BotW is booting with all the graphics in place and shit but it's still very low, wouldn't surprise me if they switch gears to get BotW fully optimized by the time the sequel arrives

Why are you so against pirate fags? I genuinely loved playing BotW on my switch and it'd make me very happy knowing more people could enjoy the thing I liked so much.

Why does it bother you if other people don't pay for their games? Does the financial barrier of other people not being able to afford the same pleasures as you give you some sort of sick power trip or something? I'm really confused at your motivations

state of the emulator is pretty weak shit but I imagine it's going to get better by the time botw 2 drops, then probably again shortly after since nothing like a nintendo game to get mustards to working on emulation.

Oh god I hope they do. Cemu botw was a fucking dream. I'll probably start a linkle playthrough here in the next couple days.

Save can be converted without much issues already between WiiU and Switch version. So nothing prevents you to do that.

Get the barbarian helmet ASAP

>hahaha people can't make the sequel good get fucked 720p master race!
Are you so dedicated to playing for a team you would eat shit just to show your loyalty?

Wait really, that's fucking cool

Not to mention they probably have at least a year if not two to get it in a good state. The fact Nintendo only teased it makes me think it's no where close to finished. BotW isn't even 3 years old after all.

I remember that one interview in which they wanted to reduce the wait time between Zeldas from 5 to 3 years, so maybe we'll be seeing it early 2019

you can probably beat odyssey on the switch emu now

I like playing botw on my pc at 30fps with linkle/zelda mods.

Looks good with graphics packs too. I own it on wii u as well btw.

I doubt it, while I don't expect it to take 5 it's definitely not gonna be ready by Q1 2019. The game is still full on in development and they won't even have the QA staff for it until December because Pokemon.

>30fps
>not 60fps
for what purpose

user, are you aware of the date?

Shield surfing

Cemu's development skyrocketed thanks to BOTW. Switch's has been doing pretty great thanks to Mario Oddyssey and I assure you the day BOTW2 comes out patreon bucks will quadruple.

does 30+ fps break some physics or anything else in the game?

I kinda thought that's what Smash would do but the thing isn't even bootable yet
Ragdoll becomes real wonky and Link is heavier, making shield surfing slower

Well it's lost sales.

>Link is heavier
>so going downhill is slower
i mean, i understand that getting up to speed should take longer, but shouldn't his top speed be higher? how did nintendo even manage to program something in this manner?

>Does the financial barrier

If you have a computer that can emulate BotW you can afford a switch.

>what is putting all eggs in one basket?

But when a game is pirated it isn't a "lost sale" because there was no guarantee that they would of bought the game legally.

In addition to this, Nintendo is a multi-billion dollar corporation. BotW sold over 12mil copies, are they really starving for that much more money?

Lastly the EU's study on piracy has some interesting notes: arstechnica.com/gaming/2017/09/eu-study-finds-piracy-doesnt-hurt-game-sales-may-actually-help/

Suck it commie

Kind of missing my position but okay.
Free Market Capitalism has to recognize and compete with piracy because it will ALWAYS be an option to the customer.

>Well it's lost sales.
But it's not. That's just a false, ancient fallacy the moral-fags always pull out.
Majority of the people who pirate games would have never purchased the game and its system in the first place, or would have done so through used copies / borrowing 'em from a friend.
