Picross 3D is such a fucking gem it's actually mind-boggling that they haven't made a sequel yet on other consoles
Is the one on the NDS good?
Theres two on the DS/3DS. And they're both amazing.
The 3DS games are basically the same game with more content. The NDS one is still great.
It's suprisingly good yeah
If they changed the presentation a bit to be a little less 2006 Nintendo DS aesthetics and put in on the Switch you'd have a great little fun title
I bought one of the NDS ones for my uncle as a gift, but he says most of it is just trial and error and thus kind of bullshit. I've never played them though, but they look neat.
Yes, it's the same concept.
The later levels where you spend 15 minutes patiently sculpting your figure are insane. There are two or three levels that really have you scratch your head to figure out the rationale.
>most of it is just trial and error and thus kind of bullshit
There is zero (0) trial and error in this game, don't trust your idiot boomer uncle.
Didn't the 3DS game introduce the two colour mechanic or was that in the oringal on DS?
3DS only.
Your uncle is retarded
All I ever used my 3DS for was Picross.
I picked up the NDS one for a buck first and was pleasantly surprised on how good it was.
I agree and loved every moment of playing both the first and second
They have though lmao
Picross 3D Round 2 on 3DS
The 3DS is practically an upgrade for the DS, I meant why couldn't they have made one for Switch or mobile?
its whole shtick is being able to tap blocks away and rotate with the stylus
This series got one of the best OSTs i swear to god.
Post fucking tunes

Only somwhat related
This would be perfect to have a game on the switch. It could use the two separate joycons with motion controls and rumble. They could make it easy to control and feel like you're manipulating a block.
