People only complain about the older gens getting shilled at the expense of newer gens. People wouldn't care about the original 150 getting into the new games if the next 650 also got in and then another 150 completely new pokemon as well. Instead you always get these terribly limited selections of the same old pokemon again and again with barely any variety to spice things up. The only saving grace was that you could just transfer the pokemon you did like across games to whatever the newest one was, but now you can't even do that.

People do bitch about Gen 1, but they're mad because Gen 1 Pokemon keep getting featured over other generations, imagine being a fan of Gen 2 or Gen 5, they get no Megas, no Alolan forms, no Z-moves, nothing, meanwhile there's something new for Gen 1 Pokemon each and every generation. It sucks.
But that doesn't mean people want Gen 1 (or any gen) to be completely unobtainable, removing player choice is the worst thing you can do for Pokemon, who''s whole premise is giving the player free agency over what they use in their party. It depends if she's a shut-in or not. They're always near small lakes/ponds found or atleast nearby every stately home. I doubt they'd be in the wild area but if there's a route in Galar by a river they should appear there if they give a fuck about accuracy. Since the list on Serebii is just whatevers found in the trailers (all in the wild area) I'm expecting the native Pokemon to appear in the routes because looking through the list it's the exact opposite of what I'd expect in England. The certificate is from OmegaRuby and AlphaSapphire. You can get it if you bring a Pokemon from an original Ruby, Sapphire or Emerald to them. That Gardevoir is from my original playthrough of Emerald, I caught him at the start of my first playthrough of it and he's been with me since. I still have that save and his Hall of Fame entries.
Also the ribbons in that pic are actually a little outdated since I recently got him the Battle Tree Master Ribbon.

it was actually because it killed almost all of sableyes checks and was better at beating stall breakers than any other stall mons. it basically invalidated heatran which was one of the most prevelant stall checks at the time and made sure if tran was ever in it never got an opportunity to set up rocks because of the looming arena trap duggy in the back.

Even if she isn't in, I am not sure if I can live in a world without Mega Loppuny. It's horrible, it's ORAS exclusive (i.e. one of the worst pokemon games to ever be made) as post-game content (so you can't enjoy your adventure with her), Immediately when sun and moon was it was yanked away from us only to be distributed by events no everyone had access to. THEN after a few years you were forced to buy US/UM to get it again and even then it was still postgame stuff.
I hate it when they do stuff like it. I hate how they introduced something like Mega Evolution that has huge impact on the game, and then drop it immediately.

- Counting forms, the current total in SWSH is more than 1000 Pokémon.
- Even if a Pokémon can't be imported to SWSH, you will be able to play with it in Pokémon Home in some way.
- They are considering using the models/animations they have created for SWSH in future entries but nothing is guaranteed as that will depend on new mechanics like Dynamax/Megas, that require additional work for every Pokémon

Can't express this enough, this game will NOT be open world. Its gonna be large circle areas a la Hyrule Field between towns. Hyrule Field is okay...for the fucking 90's. While they SHOULD have finished on time, the least they could do if they really had to finish by the holidays was say, “and the rest of the Pokémon will arrive periodically, thank you for your patience.”
The problem is instead of doing something like that for the fans, they double down and act like this is a positive creative decision. The sad thing is, out of how many mechanics and features they’ve introduced and then cut the next gen, not including a National dex seems to be the one thing they’ll have no problem implementing in the future.
And I don’t even have hope that Diamond and Pearl remakes will add more, because based on their past trend of locking out content mid generation gives me no faith in them expanding an old game.
Seriously, it pisses me off. We don’t need a new Pokémon every damn year. Take a break, give us some spinoffs (RIP mystery dungeon, conquest, ranger and pinball) in between major games, let the franchise breath, and EXPAND AND POLISH WHAT YOU HAVE. No SHIT! That specific Pokemon is a starter. It's a big central rule of Pokemon games to BLOCK being able to capture starters of any kind even from old ancient games like Gen 1.
