I really wish they did re-release this game

It's a great piece of art. It's clunky as fuck as a game. The only similar thing I can think of is Pathologic.

it's pretty artistic, deep and abstract. A really good horror game with a great setting and idea. Don't get the gripe with the controls, all Jap horror games back then had shitty controls.

The game was rated, and then some idiots started making up lies about the game raping and killing little girls. Even the ratings board couldn't believe how retarded some people are.

I think this could be, marketed wisely, pretty well accepted by that crowd. Most of the controversy was made up by things that were not in the game, and in the end the whole thing is more gloomy, eerie and cryptic than anything. I'm pretty sure this could be pretty well received nowadays. Maybe it's just wishful thinking on my side

It won't get accepted by the modern SJW crowd and with how retarded amerimutts have grown, the bow by clara alone in the cutscene will kill this game. The scenes with the kids ganging up to beat jennifer will make it a controversy all over again. The cutscenes would literally be twitter factory for SJW's and trannies.

Gameplay is jank and can be quite tedious at times, specially at boss fights. But there's not another game like this out there.
