The appeal of the 3d fallout games is in customising your character, especially for combat, i always loved getting the meltdown perk in new vegas to make people into goo with the plasma rifle and cause other people to spontaneously melt

Honestly as great as it is seeing bethesda look like retards like they should be for ruining fallout and elder scrolls, 76 was better than fallout 4 and 3. You could get pretty immersed in it just walking around without some save the world bullshit in the back of your mind. I liked some of the quests but it needed more emergent story telling with a plot better than the one in game. It's shit but less offensive than their other titles, multiplayer is fun too, haven't played since launch so I bet it's only gotten better.

Todd was disapointed with the peace, and tranquility in 76 so he decided to put out fortnite fallout mode to bait in all the shit kickers from fortnite to fallout so they can stir up shit to get Tod some clout. Clever move in theory. We'll see how it actually plays out though.

It won't work because the engine is not made for BR or PvP at all. Its clunky, extremely slow and the gunplay is trash. No reason to play this over Fortnite or PUBG or Apex Legends.
Played 4 matches and it was incredibly bad.

The fortnite mode is just bait to draw players into trolling people in the main mode. Nobody is actually supposed to play the fortnite mode, or they wouldn't make you make a character in the main mode.
