>Just saw the Avengers presentation and...hrm.

>I was unimpressed, to say the least.

What the hell is happening at SE
>deus ex killed by greedy execs
>tomb raider flopped
>no known projects in development aside from avengers despite having at least 3-4 different dev teams

who

>Deus Ex died for this

Attached: 1413265505989.jpg (528x480, 105K)

Everything I've read about it makes it sound like a QTE filled movie game, and even the usual movie game loving journalists aren't interested. I have no idea how it's supposed to work as some ongoing multiplayer thing either.

>KH3
>FFXV
>octopath on PC with its $60 pricetag, botched regional pricing and denuvo
someone needs to save Deus Ex from them

How are you supposed to make a good game with 5 playable characters who all have completely different abilities, not just in terms of combat, but even movement? And how are you supposed to make it multiplayer?

Deus ex was shit.

And it too late in the console cycle to be releasing a live-service game, but I'd imagine Avengers has been in development way longer than SE originally predicted.

FUCK NO AAAAAAAAAAAAAAH

Pretty sad that the character models from a game that's over a decade old look better than this

The art direction for DXHR and MD was unironically top shelf, "best in gaming" tier.
I hate Square Enix so much.

>5 playable characters who all have completely different abilities, not just in terms of combat, but even movement?
Isn't that what MUA games are?

Too much white in one frame. Marvel's major strength is diversity so use it.

WOW DUDE is black widow a fucking tranny???
she literally has captain america's jaw

That's much easier to pull off in an isometric perspective.

>some shitskin faggots opinion
no

>clone adam will forever be stuck in the shadows
>mankind divided sequel never

Good, fucking sick of capeshit being shoved in my face everywhere I go.

>Imagine having this kind of shit taste

>hrm.
god I hate "gaming influencers"

>announce deus ex universe
>announce a new engine to power the expansion of the franchise
>dies after one regular game, one mobile game, and a book

The last game was 6 hours and barely had what could be classified as an "ending". Kys.

>However, a growing question I had throughout this demo is, what kind of game is this, exactly? One thing that is still a point of confusion is the overall structure of the Marvel's Avengers, which will apparently open up for co-op play as you take on more missions. Following this linear demo, it's hard to picture how this will all come together as a games-as-a-service title that features online co-op.

...

>I do like what this superhero team-up game is trying to accomplish, but it seems like it's retreading ground that's already been covered by other games. It also doesn't help that the style and designs of the heroes come off as somewhat outdated and unflattering. In a lot of ways, the new Avengers game gave me similar vibes from the PS3/360-era of licensed Marvel games, from the design and visual standpoint.

Yeah if you ignore the best part of the game in the side quests and exploration. Also
>blaming the game for Square's clear sabotage of it
The main plot could've been great if Square dropped that Deus Ex universe crap and just allowed it to be a full fledged game.

>6 hours

And that's why you should buy your games and not ask mommy to get them for you. I'm sure you actually played Call of Duty, user.

>hurrr wats hyperbole
Doesnt matter why it was shit, it only matters that it was shit.

>15 hours main story
Not even close

>The last game was 6 hours
I guess if you played it like a modern shooter and not a traditional Deus Ex game.

We're fucked

>No gameplay shown
>Only movieblobs shown
>Online gameplay focus
Oh I'm sure it'll be great.

HR was fantastic, and MD was unfinished because the publishers were greedy cunts who rushed the development

youtube.com/watch?v=ik_0-D1zz-U

>posts speedruns

They showed gameplay, but it had no HUD.

>Cap is supposed to be fast and agile like a gymnast because his shield is his only form of protection against gunfine
>LOL LETS DUMP HIM IN A OVERDESIGNED SWAT SUIT
whats wrong with modern designers

they should have just canned it when they heard MUA3 was being made
