See, here is the thing, we are getting our paychecks and the money is quite similar, but also you get bonuses from the clicks on the site or from the numbers of reviews. Kotaku and some other sites like that, gets they paychecks based on clicks from their reviews/articles. They want to make a drama so people will click, knowing that most of the people like you, will check the steam/forums for the news, not their sites. Also I guess being progressive is somehow a easy target to exploit.
