Part of the appeal of Fire Emblem for me was the elegance of the series, you get a limited toolkit and a linear campaign but you can play it in different ways with a ton of space for optimization. It's always gotten some flak for how simple the core mechanics are though so I'm not surprised it went this way.

Switch game is 30 fps but has all of the DLC costumes which no other version has all of (some were exclusive to PC, others PS4).

True and honest JRPG fan here, Octopath looks nice and the characters are alright and the combat is good fun but I couldn't be bothered to finish it. Lack of overarching story really hurts it a lot.
