Just take it to the bank and get a credit slip bro.

>Vidya currency has only one denomination

What, you're just going to stuff it all down the front of your pants? Take it back to town and get it changed for higher denominations like everyone else.

>dungeons that have been sealed for hundreds of years have modern currency, spiders, and lit torches

I wish games did that. Also multiple denominations.

>open pre-war safe
>find a stash of bottle caps

Attached: 1422527839768.jpg (794x540, 35K)

man that doesn't even make sense
did all the coins just disappear? surely there are more coins than bottlecaps
maybe they used them all for the metal? but then why not use the caps for the metal?
doesn't compute

>Go into pre-war building
>Find a stash of drugs manufactured after the war

>Currency takes inventory space

fuck you diablo . Other games that do this?

America suffered huge inflation, which is why Pre-War Money is giant stacks of dollar bills

>get a sheriff's duster in Utah
>the badge has the name of a shitty bomb settlement in maryland on it

Attached: 461.png (640x480, 133K)

The funny thing is that in Fallout 4, pre-war money is fucking God tier for making caps. It's like 8 caps per every stack of PWM and it weights 0, and it's always in massive wads when you find it. Looting Sanctuary alone at the start of the game can earn you about 500 caps when you come to sell that shit.

>Game set centuries after Nuclear exchange
>Culture hasn't advanced at all, people still listen to 50s music and act like it's the 1940s

Attached: IMG_3539.png (512x512, 598K)

It's so odd; why do vendors buy pre war money? It's stupid. Is there a commonwealth wide effort to reintroduce paper money into the economy?

That's the one lorefag thing I agree with when it comes to the game you're talking about.

From what I've heard - literally used as toilet paper.

>Literally a few feet away is an old soda machine with two full bottles of Nuka-Cola

Nuka-Cola dehydrates you, though.

Not with JSawyer. If you're dying of dehydration you body can and will leech the water out of soda.

>game world switches to fiat currency
>its economy steadily declines and eventually collapses

>Yeah dude, just take this RADAWAY™ and the radiation just goes away!

Attached: IMG_4465.png (498x511, 272K)

in the first Fallout it's set up as currency The Hub can control since people can't easily print. Then by Fallout 2 the wasteland had developed enough to have straight up standard currency. Then by Fallout 3 Todd said "bottlecaps lmao!"

>hey there smoothskin

Attached: 1558471616754.jpg (587x615, 112K)

Why didn't they just give them Radaway?

he drank some feedwater, why would you waste radaway on him?

Second time's the charm, eh

Agreed, he should've gone for the sneedwater instead

What dev team out there could do Fallout justice? Cause it sure as fuck isn't Obsidian nor Bethesda.

Yet another reason sunset saspirilla is superior

>Prewar money exists
>People use bottlecaps
>Bottlecaps have no other uses other than currency

East Coast, different rules, different history up until that point. The Midwest uses ringpulls from soda cans, and that was in Tactics.

>class losses AC bonus after a certain carry weight
>Currency has weight
>despite being split into 4 tiers items still can cost up to 1000 of the last tier

Diablo is the all time worst at this. Nothing tops the 30 stacks of gold I had laying around town.

lol that's hilarious. What game?

Depends on which Fallout you consider to be the peak of the series

What the fuck? Why does the progenitor of the hack and slash loot based RPG have it so that your fucking currency which you're going to get a LOT of takes up so much inventory space you leave 30 stacks of the stuff just laying around?

Dead Space with the gold and platinum circuit boards.

I think New Vegas for FPS, and 2 for cRPG.

Whats wrong with spiders in caves?

>Post nuclear settlement

I'll take Mad Max for 500.

That's gonna be two different studios for sure.

I just want more Fallout that's actually good, so even if it's some Swedish backwater studio, all I care about is that they care about Fallout.

>ancient ruins that nobody has visited in at least centuries
>fresh food laying around

Wasteland 3 got announced so I guess that's your alternative
