She looks kind of old for a 20 year old, and she's too skinny for a brawler. Tank top is ironically smaller and tighter than the one in the AC flashbacks, which makes the censorship of the sports bra underneath more blatant. The rest is fine, but she's still the blandest FFVII girl.

Her actual apperance looks bland with the added layers and more realistic gloves.

The original design was simpler and made her stand out more. The colours stood out more and her gloves were more padded and bulky.

Let me tell you what the big deal with Tifa is:
Tifa's is a design that looks better in a cartoony PS1-like fashion, the more detail you add the more bland and boring it gets.
We have had more detailed models of her since the PS2 era and they looked bland and shitty.
It's one of those things that's better left in the past to be cherished.
They could've just given us the classic outfit completely untouched, but nothing gets close to the original artwork, it was a level of classic cute that cannot be matched.

skirt needs to be longer and start higher up, no socks and push the bust up a bit too now that shes wearing a bra, make those tits more shaped and stand out more

The original FF7 looked like a pinup with the skirt being so high on the waist. I'm a sucker for that aesthetic so I don't like it being gone.

This design ditched the pinup aspect and turned her more "sports", giving her spats and an undershirt.

The undershirt is great for her character, since she's a martial artist and that's what MMA girls wear to their fights. And the black colour offers a separation between her clear skin and the white top.

The black high socks are ok because they highlight the red boots, important to emphasize the animations of a kickboxer like her. I'm sure lower socks would have worked too.

I don't like the gloves. They should be more colourful and bright. But I guess the gloves can change and be upgraded in-game.

I don't like how thin she is. But that's something Nomura ALWAYS do. Even a powerhouse like Paine in X-2 has the body of a fashion model.

8/10 I guess. There are mistakes but the overall design is pretty good.

Most of it isn't bad, I just wish they got rid of the thigh highs and made her thighs a little thicker.

Honestly? Pretty bland. The boobies were a saving grace, but hardly made her unique. Nomura's designs were pretty boring in general for both 7 and 8. And then he went crazy with colors in 10, which looked like a mess, but I applaud the effort

The stockings I'm neutral on, but I feel like she'd have looked too "bare" compared to the other characters without something, and pants would've been a step too far. From what we've heard of her voice so far, I think she's just fine, better than Rachel was.
