What do you plan on getting?
E3 eshop sale
nothing
FYI NBA2k19 is $3 which is probably a glitch
It is, buy it even if you don't like. In my country it's 30€ buy buy buy
probably not, the game likely sold like shit and they're willing to take an initial hit on the sale price in the hopes you get roped into buying some microtransactions after.
God the switch never has a good sale
The Atelier games are on sale. Which one should I get if I want to get into the series?
Rorona
I want to get into monster hunter. Should i get generations?
nah it's only 40% off in my cunt.
Not a glitch, it's $3 on PSN right now too and probably Xbox. It's because it's the finals.
is there any way to buy secret of mana desperately? I don't want to pay $30 for the 3 games, I just want the one.
I bought DOOM. I know it's the worst version, but I have nothing else that can run it. My PC is stoneage tech, and I really want to play a good singleplayer shooter
$40 for a never released game on Switch is pretty good
add in Secret of Mana and its 100% worth it
Emulate it baka.
Emulate
Quick question about NBA2K. can you relocate a franchise to Seattle?
nothing. i was gonna buy sonic mania, but i'm just gonna grab it on pc since it's like 10 bucks on humble bundle complete.
No.
Should i get dark souls remastered?
No.
Are you genuinely recommending not to get these games or are you just saying "no" over and over
no
Gonna get My Friend Pedro while it's doing its Pre-Purchase sale. I was hoping Mechstermination Force would be more than 10% off so I'm on the fence about it.
Yes, it's a good starter monster hunter game for classic ones and the most expansive one to date so you'll get your money's worth in hunting stuff.
Is FF9 any good? I'm debating between either that, or The Messenger/NBA2K19
Gyro makes is superior to other console versions.
fantastic but if you're a zoomer that can't handle JRPGs without fast forwarding through battles you won't like it
I got Mario kart for parties. Was fucking expensive.
Can anyone tell me about the port of The Last Remnant on Switch?
Pulled the trigger on Hyrule Warriors after the last thread and still thinking about Doom. That would bring me close to $200 in game purchases in a single day...
Wait until the holiday season to see if it goes on sale for $20 or something. Just check it each week. $40 seems much too high for the package.
Sonic Mania is also free on PSN with PS+ this month.
Wait until the physical version is launched in August or get an SNES Classic which has it and a bunch of other great games.
>PS+
You mean free until you stop subscribing.
BUY DILLON'S DEAD HEAT BREAKERS SO THE SERIES DOESN'T DIE YOU FUCKS
I have most of the games on sale but I would wholeheartedly recommend Mario + Rabbids if anyone here likes XCOM. The whole game + the DK DLC is more than worth it. It's honestly my favorite switch game and I hope there's more one day.
Yes, I'm just tired of saying "free" every time. If you don't ever stop subscribing, you get to keep the license to play it.
Might get the Torna DLC for Xenoblade Chronicles 2.
Ironically it's cheaper to buy the digital standalone version than to buy the Expansion Pass (which is also included with the Torna standalone).
That and maybe Necrodancer for $4.00
I bought it last December when it was on sale for $20. I don't think most people can justify spending $40 on that, and I'm still irritated that the US never got a physical release of it.
I'd rather have 60fps than gyro.
yeah, but i don't have a ps4, sadly. oh well, just bought it and played through green hill. pretty fun so far!
Crypt because it's really in my budget.
Bought Necrodancer and Hollow Knight. Keeping it cheap. My Switch backlog is already out of hand, the latter half of 2019 is only going to be worse. I've already pre-ordered more 9 games.
>physical version is launched in August
If Best Buy will carry it, I'll get it on steep discount.
I'm sure my backlog is worse, all the limited print games are coming in and I could probably not buy another switch game and still be set for a while.
is it ok to try it even if i never played the others
Get The Messenger instead. It's great.
It really has been terrible. Even the 3DS had better sales at the 2 year point in that it was out on its Eshop. I remember buying Project X Zone around that time for $5. The only thing that is $5 or under on sale on Switch is always indie shovelware shit, quality of Project X Zone aside, it's still a better and bigger game than those.
no just play 4u on a new 2ds.
QUESTION
If you have two accounts in different regions and you buy a game from one of the accounts, does that mean you're forever locked out of getting it from the other region?
I ask because I really want to get the Switch version of Battle Cats but it's Japan only and I have no idea if it will be localized. And if it is, I don't want to get locked out of the English version.
got crypt.
Might buy nba 2k19 with my gold points kek
But might not even be worth that kekekek
No. Did this with MHX and Puyo Puyo Tetris
If you're cool with some bad audio compression, then go for it. It's a really solid port, particularly for handheld mode.
But I got the English version of Cuphead and even after deleting it, I couldn't download it from my Japanese account.
Or am I being stupid and they treat it as two separate purchases because I can't read moonrunes?
You would have to repurchase it on a JP account, sorry I thought that was what you were asking
Hollow Knight for $7.50 sounds pretty good, but I haven't made up my mind.
That make sense and I just had that Epiphany while writing a response.
You got til the 18th so don't worry too much. I haven't made up my mind on Cuphead either
Get it, it's a great game and worth $30+ dollars in my opinion.
>alr bought
Crypt of the necrodancer: its a great game, and 4 bucks is a steal
the last remnant remastered: its not exactly on sale, bu still. 20 bucks
Hyrule warrior: 40 bucks. always hear good thing about this musou
Mario and Rabbids: 27 bucks. good sale, good game
thinking about grabbing Vesperia or Okami again, but my backlog is so huge after the purchase alr. at least those are on sale prequently
just be prepared for a total snoozefest for the first few hours.
Cuphead is more a strategic purchase, where if it sells well, Microsoft might port more of their games to the Switch.
Similar to how bomberman selling great pried open what Konami was willing to do.
How's this?
>eshop sale
>hey maybe i'll try the atelier games finally
>they're still $30 each, or $70 for the collection
If i'm going to get price gouged like crazy on ancient ports i might as well pick up Mana trilogy instead, at least the Mana games have a huge nostalgia factor for me to make them feel even slightly worth the $40.
I wouldn't buy a niggersports game even if it was free.
Are any of the RPGs on sale worth a buy?
Only ones I've familiar with are the FF games (which I've already played and own)
>Ok
>Irredeemable Garbage
>The waifu that saved the franchise
Interestingly, I could say the same thing to Mega Man Star Force
Not a glitch, they're just that confident in their MTX model. Same price on the other platforms.
Time limit and prepare to have your SD card raped because they're all around 8GBs each.
>totori
>that bad
damn really? one of the main reasons i wanted to play atelier was because of how cute totori was.
>NBA2K19 is $3
I have no interest in those games but what the fuck? What's the catch?
I was interested in buying Celeste and The Messenger and since there's a sale, now seemed like a good time. Would you recommend them? Why or why not?
Yes. I'm playing it and it's fun
raise app on mobile you can get $100 for like $80-$85 usd if you want to do the vouchers
Mario aces tennis any good?
Its probably the only sports genre game I like, I think.
Depends on if you're playing alone or with friends.
used my good boy points to get necromancer for free and am thinking about getting the dong freeze when I get paid
I'm about 2/3 of the way through and the story is pretty boring. The combat isn't anything special either. I wouldn't recommend.
Anons who have played FFX/X-2 or FFXII, is either worth it for 40 dollars? Or both?
>A literal Nintendo fanboy
Come on, at least get yourself a decent computer
10/10 would recommend Cuphead. It's one of my favorite games of all time
Make it so you can get physical copies of computer games again.
Can't be that big a deal to you when you just bought Doom digitally.
Obviously alone.
Does it have online play?
Could be fun to school some scrubs in tennis.
I'm actually planning to do that too.
>hollow knight for 8 leafbucks
do I pull the trigger on this?
How is Funky Mode: New Funky Mode?
You're talking to someone else, I bought it physically when Walmart was selling it for $9
Nothing as I am pretty much dead broke at the moment.
Yes you idiot, Yes.
It just have online play. You can play exhibition matches and tournaments online.
whats better online?
i have smash, kart right now. looking at that or splatoon
Do you guys think Cadence will be worth it? Hopefuly it has a lot of content for that price
Don't fall for the cuteness. Rorona is a better waifu anyway
If you're on Wi-Fi/wireless, get Mario Kart or Splatoon.
If you have a LAN adapter, get Smash.
I would honestly get it at that price. The only reason I never finished the game is that the laptop that I played it on ran it fine for awhile, then right near the second half of the game, after a particular incident, the game just started chugging its frame rate so hard. I imagine I'll actually complete it whenever I get a nonshit computer.
I've been playing through the Final Fantasy series and last beat VI, so I went ahead and picked up VII
good timing
Cautiously open, but I'm going to wait for a discount the same way I waited for a discount of Necrodancer
Are they anything like the Ps2 Atelier? I can't shake the feeling you spend more time with the slice of life aspect of these games rather than farming ingredients to get better equipment.
Messenger is super fun but nothing mind blowing. Just some fun platforming and some good fights
What the fuck is NO THING and why is it 19 cents?
what games under $30 that have online are worth grabbing?
It's clearly SOME THING otherwise they wouldn't be able to charge 19 cents.
Shovelware gaming the eShop.
>multiple anons posting about nbk2 being $3
>Its still $25 in my country
Hate when stores do this shit.
i'm still really tempted to get the trilogy but it feels like a huge gamble, because if i don't like the gameplay i'm out $70, but if i only buy 1 game and then do like the gameplay i'll be out like $20-30 because of how expensive they are separately.
Just look up gameplay or other reviews first.
Not everyone has a political axe to grind with those.
I'm broke and saving for other things right now. I also do own older Sony systems, just had zero interest in a PS4 or Xbox One this gen so skipped out
Smash has garbage online. Splatoon is mostly smooth with a few disconnects here or there. Kart is buttery smooth.
Nothing wrong with being a figurative fanboy since all these ports of older games are designed specifically for my demographic.
Feels nice to be catered too.
I've looked into the series plenty before and i'm pretty sure i'd like it, i'm just not $70 sure i'd like it. I probably should just buy Roronoa for $30 and eat the extra cost a few months down the line if i decide i want to play the other 2.
The reward points are laughable too.
“Oh you spent $500 on our titles? Have 10% one of these eshop games”
>buying nintentard games when you could be putting money aside for the VALVE INDEX
Just pull the trigger then if you feel like you'll lose out if you just get the one game.
I would, but i'm already spending like $200 on other games this month, so even though i can afford the $70 it feels excessive.
Depends on your and their connections. Smash has to stay synched, so it'll pause to keep up if someone has a bad connection. Kart and Splatoon don't do that, but sometimes you'll be shooting someone and they won't die/take damage for a second if they're lagging. People sometimes disconnect in Splatoon, and sometimes you can "win" in Kart and then the results says some laggy person behind you actually won.
It’s for the finals. An don’t get it. It’s terrible even for 2K standards.
Wait and hope for a better sale later.
Do it.
Celeste is a tranny game
That's a pretty fucktarded reason not to play a quality game. I bet you were lusting over Lena Raine at TGA before you found out.
It annoys me trying to shop these eshop sales, you have to wade through an avalanche of shit shovelware to find if anything notable is discounted.
Overall switch eshop is a mess, needs some sort of “sort by ratings” system or something
>mfw buying $1 games just to use leftover coins
They don't even have a shopping cart.
They would need ratings for that.
They're both good, but Celeste is better in level design and difficulty curve at least. The Messenger loses some steam about halfway through and the platforming difficulty stops increasing about then too. Both are getting free dlc which sounds good.
Why do console storefronts suck so much? Sony doesn't have a wishlist, and I'm not sure which is worse lol
I realized that Picross was on the eshop
not even a sale I just love picross
dekudeals.com
Is this at all decent?
Ratings would be a part of this hypothetical system, user
Ratings would just cause all the popular stuff to be on top forever. Might as well look at the best sellers occassionaly or wish list interesting games and look through that.
you guys really aren't helping me decide one way or another.
Yah but in the context of being a sort by option a sale page, it would be a godsend
Wargroove maybe?
Just bought Dong Freeze for $40 because I know Nintendo never puts their games on sale.
Good and cute roguelike. It's an enhanced port of a Wii game though.
>Sony doesn't have a wishlist
It does on the web store version. Does it not on the console version?
It was that price physically last holiday sale. That's the only time you're likely to see Nintendo first party games relatively cheap.
Do I get Mario Meme Hat Journey or Frozen Dong?
>tfw necrodancer is arguably the only good deal to be had in the sale
>panzer_dragoon_switch.jpg
I picked up Crypt of the Necrodancer. It was $4. I did not grab the Zelda Necrodancer though... at $25, I can wait.
I already brought it Last december user
Yes is the más easy game to start playing, the other games had worse controllers and a dificulty spike Higher
This seems to be the prevailing mindset on both games.
Where did you bring it, Mr. Brule?
I'm going to buy a switch next month. Can I buy shit right now and add it to an account or something? Or is shit tied to the console like the 3DS?
It's tied to the account, and you might be able to buy the games off your account on the nintendo site, try it.
will do. thanks fren
Oh damn, think I’ll pick up necrodancer for $4. Would there be any advantage to getting it on ps4 or nah? No PC currently btw
Travis Strikes Again
Just make an account on pc, buy the games on pc, and link your account to your user profile on the Switch when you get it and just go to your profile in the Eshop and under the "Redownload" tab is where you can get the games.
How's DOOM?
Highly recommend Celeste. Tons of content for your buck. Very challenging too with free dlc on the way shortly. Hey
Meme hat if you like open world, dong if you like 2D platforming
Should I get Final Fantasy 7? I was a N64 kid so I actually never got to play it.
What's the dlc have?
I believe the Switch version has the DLC included, so there would be a distinct DISadvantage to getting it on PS4 right now, apart from the fact that it has cross-buy with the Vita version.
Nope because the sequel is a switch elusive and you can't take it on the go on other systems.
I'm in your shoes, on one hand I'm vindicated that we finally get it on a Nintendo system after all this time. On the other hand the fanbase for VII is cancer and I prefer the 2D FF games.
>bought necrodancer to see if I should get CoH when it goes on sale
>started scrolling Yea Forums to the beat
good use of my nintendie points
I want to get Dong but the fact that it was literally free on Wii U makes me not want to.
Any word on when Panzer Dragoon is even coming out?
How do I make a Jap account?
same as both of you. I bought it on a whim and im about 2 hours in and it's _fun. If you can look past some of the FMVs looking a bit crusty and the aspect ratio then it's a really solid RPG. It's a classic for a reason and i'm sensing it already. Full of charm and is oozing soul. Playing a PS1 game on a massive modern TV is pretty funny
HA GET FUCKED
you belong to Oklahoma froggy holy shit ahahaha
Not him but the DLC is going to have 100 more levels
>Would there be any advantage to getting it on ps4 or nah?
None. Switch for main game+DLC or PC for mods, though very little was done for Necrodancer.
Thing is, the only thing that makes Necrodancer PC superior is the fact that you can dump in your own music for more replayability value
fuck it, I think I'll buy Cadence full price, plus I don't think it will be dirt cheap like regular Necro because it has the Zelda licence
Just change the region of your main account, buy the game you want and then change it again
Thinking about getting MarioxRabbids Gold, Okami, and Star Fox.
Got any input? I've played Okami, just haven't played it since GCN
I'll pull the trigger if it's cheaper or they put it on sale again later.
I just don't want to give sonyfags satisfaction after all the shitposting they've done with FFVII.
It's the old fanboy in me and I apologize for nothing. I still haven't bought or played a Sonic game even though that war is long over and Sega has been thoroughly conquered
I will get FFIX though
The messenger is a very solid game, but seriously loses steam in the last 2/3 of the game.
Should I get it?
>MarioxRabbids Gold
Yes, it was made with love and the dev is a genually great person who is living the dream and had to deal with faggots almost ruining everything.
>Okami
Maybe
>Star Fox
You mean Star Link?
There's a star fox game on the switch?
>tfw other companies port games over to switch than nintendo itself
jesus f christ
Why won’t Dark Souls drop lower than twenty? I just want to backstab children from the comfort of my bed.
My bad. Starlink, yes.
>I just don't want to give sonyfags satisfaction after all the shitposting they've done with FFVII.
Never let others stop you from having fun, user. Plus it's on fucking everything so they have no right, even then all they care about now is anime titties
> I still haven't bought or played a Sonic game
You're not missing much
Get Rabbids and spread the word. It's a fantastic game made with love. Ubisoft needs to know that good games are still worth making.
Think he's talking about Starlink
Rune factory 4 is £15 so I'll probably try that out.
Kys
Gorgeous art.
Slow stop and go gameplay.
Very punishing.
The gameplay of Stardew Valley seems nice but I grew up with DS era Harvest Moon so the artstyle is offputting. What do you guys think of it? I'm thinking about that, Hollow Knight, and both Shantae games.
It's a cell phone game where you follow a single, non-randomized path made of 90 degree angle by pressing left and right. Miss one and you die.
It's entertaining for 5 minutes.
Don't buy shitty local multi shovelware just because it's cheap
Pirated it on release date. Told myself I'd buy it but I forgot to. Maybe I'll get to it this time, or perhaps when they re-release it for the switch.
I wanted to try Unravel 2 and play with my mother.
>Slow stop and go gameplay
I mean, if you want to play it like that
youtube.com
It's a standard Ubisoft first game of a series project where the skeleton doesn't have much meat, but it's still serviceable if a bit repetaive. However the Star Fox content has absolutely no right to be as good as it or feel as seamless as it does with the main game. You can play as Fox the moment you start the game just play as him throughout the entire campaign.
Also listen to the Devs in how they got it use the IP was nice and it ended with Nintendo having the Star Fox voice actors recording a message to the Devs to congratulate them for their work when the game went gold.
Sadly the game will be marred by the toy aspect. Still if you get it digitally you don't have to deal with that shit. I'd get it if you like Star Fox games since again, the devs did put care and respect into that.
Bing bing wahoo is better in every respect except if you want something 100% linear.
>RE4 still not on sale
>a bit
Starlink is VERY repetitive
You experience like 80% of the game on Kirite
On that note, what does the ‘bing bing’ part of that meme even refer to? Wahoo prob is Mario long jumping, is it like the sound of collecting coins?
>Get Rabbids and spread the word. It's a fantastic game made with love. Ubisoft needs to know that good games are still worth making.
This, the guy who made it is an actual bro. I tweeted getting it a while back and he responded to me saying he hoped I enjoyed it.
Google it. IIRC, you'll need to make a second Nintendo account set to Japan region WHEN YOU MAKE IT, using a second email address, then you just make a second user on your Switch and link it to that second account, then you can access the Japanese eShop.
If you have a Nintendo Switch Online subscription on your main account, you can even play online and get freebies like the Famicom app (including some games not available on the NES version of the app). You'll have to use your JP account to download them from the eShop, then you'll have to use your account with the NSO subscription to actually play them.
A side effect of having dual regions on one Switch is that your news feed will be combined, so you'll get all new items mixed together from both regions.
I don't think it's that simple.
>NO THING on the Switch eshop
lol I already knew that
I got autism, so it's perfect for me.
Blame Nintendo for having quality control on par with Steam. You should have seen the Wii U eshop, that was far worse.
its the classic sequence of world 1 iirc
>2 coin block: bling bling
>1 shroom block: yahoo
This is my wish list that's on sale
I'm looking at Shantae, most likely, I already have Crash (haven't removed it from my wish list yet) on PS4
Bing is the sound of collecting coins
I've got severe OCD so I had to 100% it (ship mastery, weapon mastery, maxing unlocks)
I just wish combat was less shallow and they had done more interesting things with enemies (unlike tedious bullshit like the new turrets and clingy balls)
Mushroom= yahoo??
Get Celeste. HGH is pretty disappointing for a Shantae game and you're only getting the base game which is super barebones.
The Wii U eShop was livelier and easier to navigate, though. The Switch eShop is sterile and onerous. It really needs some work.
I just leave some of the pirate ship bases unbeaten so I can have unlimited dog fighting. Plus I love he music.
And going full macross missile spam with the ice and gravity missiles is a guilty pleasure.
>Only got switch month or so back
>Saw Zelda BoTW was on sale last year around E3
>waited until E3 for the sales so i could pick it up on digital
>it's not on sale for some reason
I'll admit, the stasis missiles are satisfying as fuck to shoot and land. Elemental combos were a bit too OP though.
>for some reason
Because people are still willing to pay full price for the game over two years later.
Haven’t played the others but as someone who spent over 200 hours in AC:WW, I couldn’t get into Stardew Valley. Felt really bad option paralysis and then figured out what I liked (the mine, flirting with grills at the bar) and it became really repetitive. Felt like it was really hard to complete objectives in town hall, farming was onerous, and the magical elements seemed impossible to access. I wanna get into it but can’t.
Because Nintendo games age like fine wine. Who'd have thought?
it's the most jewish fucking thing that nobody seems to have a problem with for some reason because lol it's nintendo ok dude
fucking annoying
GTA5 was full price for fucking ages too, but I guess it's ok when Rockstar does it. If it keeps selling there's no reason to drop prices and BotW keeps selling.
Bing bing wahoo is charming and addicting but very forgettable and simple. Dong is an incredibly deep 2D platformer that reaches some unbelievable new heights for the genre and most importantly is challenging. Truly a masterpiece.
I've been meaning to grab DOOM when it hit 20. 30 ain't far off. I already own it on pc and PS4, but I'd like it for road trips and that sorta thing. I don't mind 30fps for a handheld. Does it play well enough for the price?
Though 20+ gigs is kind of a lot. How much data if any do you need to download with the physical version?
But BoTW isn't the only game they do it with though. Nearly every single first party Nintendo game is still full price on digital, not to mention that digital is for some reason more expensive than physical (Even though it should literally be the other way around because of manufacturing costs in physical) but i guess it doesn't matter because it's nintendo right?
Keep suckin japcock retard
Picross S is amazing. Most played game besides Smash and Zelda. And Zelda only has so much time cause I went slow and milked it for a month cause nothing else was on switch and I was caught up on my PS4 backlog back then. Really wish S2 or S3 would get a sale but they’re worth the $10 so I’ll probably grab them at some point.
Tropical Freeze is easily in the top 3 2D platformers released in the past decade which should be played by everyone with a mild interest in the genre.
youtu.be
This sale in particular has a highlights page curated if you access the sale through the News item about it
>I don't mind 30fps for a handheld. Does it play well enough for the price?
Yeah plus it has gyro aiming now
Multiplayer is a separate download
>But BoTW isn't the only game they do it with though.
Because Nintendo exclusive games keep selling on Nintendo systems because people buy Nintendo systems to play said games. Are you stupid or pretending?
=It's called being an evergreen title you morons.
You're used to the Western way of where a game only gets sales at launch and then again when it gets massive price cut a month or two later before it's bargain binned.
Nintendo plays the long game where it will continually gets slow and steady sales over time and because they create a solid product that stands the test of time, they can just keep it out of market for years and the next game doesn't immediately make it obsolete like is the case with most western games.
Look at Splatoon 2's sales in Japan if you want to see this practice in full.
Sounds like shit. Wise OST was way better.
It being exclusive doesn't hold that much weight. Every console has exclusives, but they aren't sold at full price years after release are they? I could buy GoW for the PS4 right now for £20 off amazon
>b-but the sales figures say
show me them before you retort the same exact point with no data
A decent computer in my country is 600+ USD. I got the Switch for 190.
You dont have any other platform to play MHW on?
>recommending Celeste
I didn't realize Yea Forums had this many proud Feminist Frequency supporters, good on you for sticking it to the gamerbro patriarchy.
There is also Kemono Friends Picross. Same stuff, but with cute.
>Wise OST was way better
nigga that is wise
youtube.com
youtube.com
youtube.com
youtube.com
Fuck off.
Is Nintendi's fault, not ours. They don't mske sales even if the game fucking flop.
Just skip to the part where you say all his music is shit.
Haha what a loser
||based, hope y'all have a fun time||
Oh never mind it sounds great
Wow thank you user. This looks amazing. Is the anime worth watching? I mainly watch seinen stuff but I’ve been known to enjoy some slice of life and this looks comfy as fuck.
Fucking idiot
Not on sale, but Chronicles of Mana - is it good for a beginner to 2D JRPGs? I really enjoy 3D ones and loved DQXI last year and wanna get familiar with the 2D classics. Since Nintendo isn’t putting out the original DQs or FFs yet, I was thinking of buying this, but I don’t wanna be pleb filtered by the genre.
Collection of Mana* sorry I’ve been making that mistake all day
US Best Buy and Amazon have the standard edition on sale for $50 right now.
>is it good for a beginner to 2D JRPGs?
Well, they're kind of different. Battles are real time with some menus for magic/healing. Think of it kind of like 2D Zelda or Ys.
Gyro aiming? If it's as good as the wiis pointer that would be amazing. I might just bite the bullet and pick it up on the sale. Can always delete it and download again later if I need space. Kinda doubt I'll need it any time soon since I have like a total of 150 gigs.
Oh, is there much slow down in big crowded rooms? If it's mostly a constant 30fps that's pretty solid, considering.
> Since Nintendo isn’t putting out the original DQs or FFs yet
Nintendo doesn't have the power to do that, it's SE's choice.
Also, if you have a 3DS you can get some of the later DQ games.
Ahhh no idea why I thought they were like the Tales series
Well yes you’re right I just meant since they aren’t on switch.
I sold my 3DS (stupid I know) but if I end up buying a new 2DS to be able to go through old DS games someday I’ll definitely make the DQ games a priority.
I guess you could say they got big around the same time. I'd recommend emulating the games in the collection and if you like them, get the remake of 3 once it's out.
I only want to get Collection of Mana for 3 but it doesn't seem to be worth it. I wonder if I should just wait for the remake and hope they include all the SNES assets with it as well.
Gonna get Wild Guns since fuck paying $20 for it ;but I'm looking to get Iconoclast as well. How is it?
>I sold my 3DS (stupid I know)
not him but they're stupid cheap now
The first season is surprisingly amusing and was wildly popular. I've only heard negative things about the second, so I would just stop at the first.
It's pretty good. Mostly linear with a good amount of puzzle platforming and a lot of dialogue. Lots of bosses though.
Where? Amazon seems to sell them for full price still, even used in marketplace
Guess i'll give Joe Mad some love since it's $20
I like my games with lots of bosses
I think it is a glitch
NBA2k19 delux is $33
buying the regular edition automatically gave me delux
What game and does the artist do nudes? A man can't live off cleavage alone.
It's the NBA finals so he game is about to be made obsolete.
Fire sale time.
I didn't like it at all.
The platforming was simplistic, the grapple hook mechanic never clicked with me and felt shoehorned in.
The worst thing was the game's extreme indulgence in its plot, which is extremely standard and foreseeable. Literally from the start it's WORDS WORDS WORDS endlessly repeating the same simplistic shit, then you get to play a few screens, then back to watching cutscenes again.
It's the worst of the devs games despite looking the prettiest
>No Octopath
>No Pokken
>Barely anything off of Chocobo Dungeon
Might get Dong Freeze or Kirby. I keep eyeing Matio+Rabbies but the rabbies kill it for me.
Battle Chasers: Nightwar
Joe Mad is basically comic book royalty so sadly no lewds only a few sexy drawings here and there.
Get Dong Freeze, don't bother with Kirby
The Rabbids are actually pretty likable in M+R plus you get to beat the shit out of the ones you don't
Wait WHAT. There is a fucking Battle Chasers video game? Is it good? How the fuck have I never heard about this?
>33% off
You call that a fucking sale? Maybe I'm spoiled by the PS Store sales.
Already bought Shovel Knight and Crypt of the Necrodancer recently and I still have to finish Hollow Knight and beat Enter the Gungeon so I'm good for a while on the indie front.
Then there's the handful of big switch games I still have to finish. Hell, I haven't even finished BOTW yet.
No I'm not buying any more games for now.
That didn't stop Tim Bruce.
I'm going to play it with my
gf
Never played FF7, kinda want to buy it
You are, also most Sony games are shit which is why they bin so fast.
I hate this the most because back when I got a Switch I got Odyssey because I reasoned BotW would go on sale first, being an older title.
BUT NOOOOOOOOOOOO
My wasted time back.
It's honestly great and I personally recommend it. A little rough around the edges but otherwise fantastic for its scale.
Botw was on sale only a few months ago.
Is Shantae any good?
mario meme, open frozen dong is on sale all the time
Already bought Link Between Worlds. Was thinking of getting SMT4 though I've never played a Megaten game. Would I enjoy it if I like pokemon?
How's Monster Boy
good but not as good as dragon trap.
SMT4 is definitely worth it for the music alone, and I think you'll appreciate the gameplay, I was surprised at how similar the system was to Pokemon, and how it goes further as there are several demons fighting alongside you.
