Rockstar is based in Scotland as far as I know, You've also got Team Ninja and while they have had some misfires they have also done some great games. Rare is based in the UK and Core Design is the original team behind Tomb Raider. I'm sure I can come up with more but these are just a handful that came from the top of my head.
