SD3 is over rated. the gameplay is horrible. yeah, story is cool and class system is nice but combat is a fucking cluttered dog pile and your character fucking fights YOU. you will be moving in to attack an enemy and suddenly your character moves on its own an engages a different enemy. and you fucking move at a crawl in battle while your companions can run no problem.

SoM/SD2 is a waaaay better game

You can play SD3 first. But playing SD2 first would probably be better since it's shorter and helps you learn the battle system.

See If they fixed the stat bug, the game would be nigh unplayable. The game's difficulty was balanced around those bugs unknowingly. Fixing them turns the game into kaizo.

Sadly, this is more accurate than the one most of us have been using for nearly 2 decades.

It's a little too over the top still, even for her. Other translations just have her talking without full pronouns or conjunctions. To give her a lisp like that just makes it annoying to read. And the whole point of a translation is to make something the audience will enjoy reading.

But SquareEnix does this shit all the time. Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy games always have at least one character with this horrible junk going on. And if you look into it, the Japanese versions of those characters don't talk with an accent or lisp. It was added in by the localization team.
