>PERMANENT EXP SHARE
PERMANENT EXP SHARE
PERMANENT EXP SHARE
Wow, you mean a feature that's been in the last 2 gens will make a comeback? Crazy world we live in.
Why are people even pointing out shitty things in this game still?
>Game has horrible graphics
>Game has barely any pokemon in it
Why would anyone buy it based on these two alone?
because those are the only things that are different from the previous games
You could turn it off in sumo, granted level scaling made it harder, but the game needed that.
It's a children's game, calm down there autismo.
Can you imagine if exp share involved them having to scissor or 69 each other? HaHaHa
So were the first 5 generations and those didnt have a permanent exp share that gives exp to the WHOLE party
maybe I am just weird but they could have skipped the exp share and gave all the trainers 6 pokemon in their team instead of 3 and it would have ended up about roughly the same exp?
>PERMANENT
Why would you think that? It has thus far been toggleable.
not since Let's go eevee/pikachu
Not a mainline game, so it doesn't count.
I'm confused, are you mad because you didn't get this feature as a child or are you just a grown ass adult autistically screeching?
Pokefans are literally braindead. They are incapable of growing up do to their intense brain damage and Poketumor
>Not a mainline game
Wrong
I know it's going to be shit, but do you expect me to just not pre-order both versions in a vain attempt to fill the gaping void in my life?
>do to their
play the 17897987 romhacks that are better than a new mainline game?
normalfags like you ruined pokemon
The problem with EXP share was that the game wasn't balanced for it. There's nothing inherently wrong with it, if the game is harder.
exp share is fine, it would incredibly tedious having to level each mon one by one
>do to their
There's not a single romhack out there that successfully captures the spirit of pokemon honestly
Not him but I can never get very into romhacks for whatever reason. It goes from "whoa that pokemon this early? Cool!" and beating the first or second gym and then I lose interest.
Woah. So I don’t have to spend hours training each of my Pokémon individually in a small patch of grass?
Why do you guys force so hard to hate everything in every game?
It fucks up your EV farming
I don't need this fucking up my sessions.
As much as I love Nessa already, it won't be enough to save this game. Needless to say, Sword and Shield are shaping up to be my last. I hung in there, I really did.
I'd love to like this game but it's so fucking horrible it's not even funny. Do NOT give them money for this cashgrab.
implying that was bad in any kind of way
>b-but muh grinding
>m-muh unnecessary switching
I just realized that the Switch isn't a 3DS upgrade. It's mainline system upgrade. So why does the new pokemon look worse than Pokemon Colosseum, a game from 3 generations ago? How do Pokefags rationalize this?
>It fucks up your EV farming
You can either fill your team to properly fill the stat you're going after in that case, or box the ones that don't need said stat.
>So why does the new pokemon look worse than Pokemon Colosseum, a game from 3 generations ago?
They don't
It's a bit weird that there's another game with perma-exp share, but that's not the main issue.
The main issue is that we're getting a mainline game that's straight-up not including a ton of Pokemon. What happened to all of the future-proofed models? Were those models only for 3DS, so now they have to remake the models for this game? What's the deal?
pokefags are more retarded than modern skyrimfags
LGPE is a bigger fuck you to pokemon fans than I could've ever conceived but they still ate it up because muh nostalgia and muh riding charizard
How does that work with ev training then?
>>Game has barely any pokemon in it
do we actually have a number on this?
As it did in XY+, all Pokemon in the party get EVs from the KO'd mon. If I remember correctly, getting EVs isn't a thing if you catch a Pokemon? I never bothered to explore that option so no idea.
It was a blessing because I loaded my party with 5 mons that needed EXP/EVs of a certain type, and fought horde battles of a particular Pokemon.
Waaaaaah I want my old pokemon back waaaaaah no don't make me use new pokemon noooo waaaaaahhh i wanna use the same pokemon forever!!!!
You haven't played Colosseum in a while, have you?
This. Every battle effects the EV growth of your mons, having permanent exp share just completely fucks over anyone serious about the game.
Gamefreak doesn't give a fuck anymore. Instead of trying to appeal to the hardcore fanbase they have they keep casualizing it and letting them go off to smogan
Good. Leveling each Pokémon individually was such a drag.
>implying
normalfags who unironically bought the pile of shit that was LGPE just because they wanted a "pokemon """""game"""""" for their switch is the real reason this franchise is dying.
No it doesn't, lol. For EV training you'd just take Pokemon that need that particular EV and train them all at once. In-game, you're going to have a jumble of fucked up EVs anyway.
Give it a few tweaks here and there and it will look way better than Pokemon Sword/Shield
I know this'll trigger the Hoennfags, but LGPE was unironically better than all of 3DS Pokemon.
>Implying sword and shield are going to have EVs
That's too hard for casual players to understand, we need to cut it.
delusional and retarded
every pokefag on the internet excluding maybe half of /vp/ received the game to critical success
That annoyed me so fucking much about Sun and Moon
>most generic trainers have ONE pokemon
>some really fancy trainers have two
>only the E4 have five pokemon
IS IT TOO MUCH TO ASK FOR TRAINER BATTLES TO BE HARDER THAN WILD POKEMON
>There was never a mainline hard Pokemon Game Story Wise
Colosseum, a spin-off has a literally a challenging and hard final part, off course no permanent Exp Share
Because you can always put in 60+ hours into a Pokemon game and the Switch needs timesink games other than Smash (which is already stale as fuck). I'm only going to complete the Galar dex, do some raids with my friends then drop the game afterwards. That alone will last longer than 95% of the Switch's library, my Switch is a dust collector and GF haven't fucked up the main formula of Pokemon enough to ruin the experience
If that happens Smogon will be on suicide watch
of course not
>playing pokemon in 2019
the only thing the franchise has going for it are the pokegirls, and you don't need to play the game for that
We already knew this. Gamefreak said LGPE will be the format of future games when LGPE was first revealed last year.
>I'm only going to complete the Galar dex,
Tis the only dex to complete
Pokémon is a great example of the potential of something being worth far more than what it actually is.
Based
>You could turn it off
Why would you when it's a free advantage?
It's for the better Anons. You will see that I am right.
It's rather tedious killing 6 magikarp or bugs with those few trainers which do it let alone if everyone did
Just bring back the vs seeker gamefreak
Are pokefags saying "hurr durr not a main game" in denial or actually retarded?
Didn't they change it so the Pokemon in battle get more exp rather than giving the same to everyone?
Why would you ever pick something other than the easiest mode in any video game when it has no disadvantage?
What the fuck I didn't post Prince
MOOOOT
it's been like that since gen 6 when it was introduced
Hopefully that means there'll be alot of Pokemon in the main game instead of the cancer that was the friend safari in X. Although, I'm wondering why they developed a zone for the sole purpose of RANDOM pokemon appearing if they weren't going to flood it with every possible Pokemon for the national dex. I'm getting PoGo flashbacks to them slowly adding Pokemons to raids/weekly events with that area to keep people playing
>cant have my bulbasaur, snorlax or hariyama
>newfag
Yea Forums has a feature where if you post something at the exact same time as someone else, your images switch.
would a newfag know who moot is
>Why would you ever pick something other than the easiest mode in any video game
Because the developers implemented intentionally balanced difficulty settings. If you want to arbitrarily shoot yourself in the foot you can do that regardless of whether or not the EXP Share is on.
Yes. People who came here around 2014 and after need to go back.
Turning off exp share is artificial difficulty. It just slows you down and increases the number of battles you have to grind to beat an arbitrary DPS check or stalling.
Pokemon Colosseum had the perfect amount of difficulty for a Pokemon game. All the bosses had a defined strategy that you can make your team play around instead of relying on grinding.
Of course this means actually giving the enemy trainers a good AI and balancing the game so we know Sword/Shield will just be gen 7 all over again
sorry bros...I didn't make it to the new game...
Feels like GameFreak is the new Sonic Team.
>Game has horrible graphics
Consider suicide, graphicsnigger, you're worse than storyfags.
>Game has barely any pokemon in it
??
>permanent
Show me the receipts autist
It's been switchable in every game
>Game has barely any pokemon in it
You don't need more than 151 pokemon in a game.
Pokemon is the videogame equivalent of the Simpsons. It was amazing in the 90s but we're shortly getting to the point where it's beem bad longer than it's beem good.
Seething pokenigger
That kind of attitude is why these shitty games never improve, fuck you.
Hey apologist, have you bothered using your fucking eyes and compare the graphical fidelity to other games on the switch? Fucking indie devs could try better
Even then, with as low res and shitty as the graphics are there are still fucking frame drops, lacking expressiveness and overall tone. You're fucking weak
