If you only watched the first bit with FF7 then went to bed its the best conference so far. Even including all the trash we got with it it still is the best out of what we got so far.

Lots of comfy ports that I’ll play cause I haven’t owned a PlayStation until last gen. Can understand disappointment with ports. FFVIIR looks great. Glad the capeshit was bad to punish the stream zoomers

I don't understand why Square focuses so much on western games when they have so many beloved IPs

I think the lack of any synth or other style of music besides full orchestration will have a negative impact on FF7. Particularly in the boss fight and battle music

Another Bethesda where they had one game that looked phenomenal while everything else was a wet turd. SaGa ports were nice though.

Who else thinks it was BORING. I already knew FF7 Remake was going to steal the show, but having a separate trailer for FF7 yesterday took away the impact of today's trailer. It's like SE is saying:

"We have Final Fantasy 7! And have some extra Final Fantasy 7!"

It just felt lackluster and a snorefest. The other stuff they showed I don't give a fuck about like Dragon Quest or super hero shit like Marvel's Avengers. And they reshowed the SAME fucking trailer for Kingdom Hearts 3's DLC that we already saw yesterday? Further enhancing the sense of boredom.

SE really has lost it. It would be nice if somehow they suffered bad sales, but unfortunately FF7 Remake is going to outsell Minecraft and Grand Theft Auto put together so they'll never experience an actual loss. Such a SLOW company that takes forever to make ONE fucking overrated game.

3/10 is the rating. When will SE die?

The pacing was so off on so many of their reveals, the stream was complaining that a lot of bits were padded out and boring.

WHO FORCES PEOPLE TO SIT THROUGH THE WHOLE OF THE FIRST BOSS FIGHT AND WATCH EVERY SINGLE BORING ASS BLOW HAPPEN ON SCREEN

They showed nothing besides ff7 and that shit avengers game. 3/10

Can someone explain what exactly is Dragon Quest XI S? Is it just an enhanced version of XI or is it a different story too?

Was strong for half a hour then nosedived.
VII:R looks good enough to keep me from calling it irredeemable shit anymore, but I still don't have my hopes up.

Enhanced with an actual orchestra for the OST instead of the midi bullshit they pulled for the original release and allegedly also the ability to choose who lives with you in your house, which is a very minor point towards the end of the game
