How comes Dragon's Dogma is so much better than Dark Souls? Seriously, I literally cannot enjoy Dark Souls "press R1 to win" anymore, its combat is so inferior to DD.

Face the dragon and the Seneschal then go to BBI and face the end boss so the story will make sense to you and if you are not a brainlet you will see why it doesn't explain much in the main game.

Assassin has 2 dodge rolls, since the shield skill Swift Castle acts like a dodge. Good for when you wanna use shield and sword as Assassin

it's a great game that pulled off unique shit and honestly did the open world feel correct by making it somewhat linear and not at all overwhelming, plus the combat and multiplayer stuff was perfectly balanced and not in your face like other games
great characters great story, generally satisfying conclusion and plenty of memorable shit like caxton

Sorry man, I probably love DD more than anyone in this thread but balanced is not a word that applies to DD. Like, you can even buy an arrow that one shots the final boss from a merchant that is available at the start of the game and don't even get me started on fucking throwblasts.
