>Another E3
>Another year without an Alien Isolation 2 or AvP announcement
T-t-t-there is always next year, r-r-right?
Another E3
But Alien Assbolation 2 is in the works.
It's a mobile game.
only boomers like that franchise
its dead jim. Alien isolation sold badly
It's okay alien isolation can remain a secret gem nobody fucking played I'm fine with that. God what a great game though. I don't need a sequel.
Imagine a Colonial Marines game made by the team, on that engine, with the same care put into capturing the atmosphere of Aliens.
>Alien Isolation sold badly
Where does this meme come from? I actually listened to Sega's shareholder meeting that quarter, and they explicitly said Isolation was the ONLY game they had that exceeded sales expectations.
>tfw your teenage years of evac, survival and hunt area dead forever
>not even a "server revival" saved the nostalgia
AVP 2
No, there's an alien isolation thing that will be released on mobile. But an Alien Isolation sequel is in the works as well, though it will include co-op and they seem to have focused on AI.
Alien Isolation was unironically great.
Your franchise is property of those scum sucking, ass licking, pieces of shit at Disney now.
Let it rest in peace.
I have fond memories of the 24/7 Quarantine Survival server.
Ridley the madman is still pushing for his Alien:Covenant sequel. You will get more Fassbender and albino ayylmaos and you will like it.
AVP 2 rerelease fucking when? Why do I have to suffer?
29 year old boomer here. I don't care about the franchise, but the game was damn good.
I'm glad you share the correct opinion. Have a screenshot.
Fuck off Boco ain't nobody likes you
I miss this game so much
Playing marine vs alien survival on Verloc > Isolation
Problem is, people hang onto to franchises way passed their use by date. Terminator, Predator, Alien. These were all beloved when they were new, hungry, and gritty. You can't be a billion-dollar franchise and still have that soul. People delude themselves... for movies anyway.
If that's true, Sega are even dumber than they were in the late mid to late 90s.
I just want to play an alien in multi and slaughter marine nerds and pred bitches while moving at 10000000 sanics per hour over every surface
>at one point had about 4 or so 24/7 quarantine survival map servers
>but all of them had different settings
>aliens surviving predators
>marines surviving marines
>predators surviving marines
>class specialisation on/off
Man, even the new AvP game messed all this up be removing all the customisation, forcing very specific mod to be played in a specific, "standard" way. Having a Predator be the Hunter and Marines as prey in a hunt mode makes complete sense sure, but when the Hunter is an alien and prey are preds, this changes the dynamic drastically and makes it so much fun, not to mention the various classes of each side
Fuck I see all this
>tfw finally getting gud as a Runner
Does Sega still have access to the Alien license? I'd like an Isolation sequel, but I'm not sure about it being developed by anyone other than Creative Assembly.
no better feeling
>a billion-dollar franchise
It took the Alien film series 40 years to reach that milestone. Sure there are comic books and video games and toy shit but it was never as big as you think it is.
