Isn't he just a rip-off of Solid Snake?
ill keep hoping till the last second
maybe they will pull a cyberpunk like 2018
Missing the conference. What happened?
Do you not own a phone?
what happened to that cool boat versus game they showed few years back?
Cameo is some mobile game with other Tom Clancy's games characters.
>10 seconds of MGS' parody is better than his entire series
Yikes
What a fucking letdown.
I wish it was an out-of-season april fools joke.
No Sam actually uses stealth
Ubisoft can fuck right off after that fucking shit show for not showing anything Splinter Cell related
>actually thinks Metal Gear is a good game that can compete with light and sound based god-tier stealth
Splinter cell has 2 good games and arguably 3.
Splinter cell 1 and 3.
I liked Splinter Cell: Conviction as well.
I really hope you played the game. They're a different form of stealth game.
I also like Metal gear solid 2 and 3.
I really thought the fact that they had the balls to put him in a mobile game was proof that they were releasing another entry in the main series. Was that genuinely the worst conference of all time?
The italian voice actor have teased stuff, the devs have teased stuff. Why the fuck are they doing all of this...AND YET NO SPLINTER CELL. Shoutout to the hero yelling splinter cell during that guys speech at least.
but they did user, he's mobile now!
I just want another Chaos Theory tier game. I know it's impossible but I can play it in my dreams
There was never any alternative.
None of us end gracefully, some of us just end before disgrace can consume us entirely.
What's the bigger disappointment: Sam Fisher or Commander Keen?
>cameo appearance in shit mobile game
We've been monkey paw'd lads
Chaos Theory was the best.
let's make the worst possible new Splinter Cell
>multiplayer only
>open world
how was Blacklist? never played it
a solid action rental for the weekend but dont you dare pay full price or expect stealth
Fucking Sam
Honestly, who gives a fuck about Commander Keen?
Oh wow lol
Poor Fisher fans
It was good with exception of one level, though Fisher is an entirely different character.
Final level gives kind of classic vibes.
>you directly combat people in the middle of a day
Agreed, final level felt like a classic SC mission.
It was terrible. Not a single redeeming quality
Are you guys that retarded you dont think a new SC is in the works? Of course it is, who cares if its revelead this year or next one?
Oh man, I almost forgot about how terrible that middle east level was. What the hell were they thinking?
I was actually thinking about that one winter level where you have to defuse the bombs, which starts with FPP segment and the same missions ends with a chase segment
It's just dissapointing to every year get nothing, and have them tease shit and then give us a mobile game.
>I guess I'm the only one
>not for long heh heh heh
>terrible
Conviction is Ironside kino. The Middle East level has a fantastic payoff and is important for Coste's character arch.

I think this might have genuinely been the worst E3 presentation ever. Watchdogs 3 actually looked interesting(speaking as someone who thought WD1 was the worst disappointment in Gen 8) but the fact they had the FUCKING BALLS to put Sam Fisher in a mobile game, it was a kick to the balls. Plain a simple.
And then they announced a subscription service to their platform that nobody likes, and then they announced it's going tor Stadia, so you can pay TWO subscriptions PLUS the price of games.
And they even went and exhumed the Wii's corpse for Just Dance.
>wanting modern Ubisoft to handle Splinter Cell
It's better like this.
I refused to watch Ubi after how godawful the rest of the conferences are, don't tell me they did Splinter Cell dirty.
Which fucking game in that slog conference was his again?
Pack it up user the series peaked ages ago with CT
Not really, but the only thing we got was Sam being in some mobile game.
They confirmed they're making Splinter Cell their "Primary vehicle to deliver the stellar Tom Clancy experience you're used to, to your mobile devices."
They fucked it user they made sure to twist the knife by putting sam in some worthless shekel exacter mobile shit taking game
>they're making Splinter Cell their "Primary vehicle to deliver the stellar Tom Clancy experience you're used to, to your mobile devices."
WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
The mobile game cameo is no joke. Ubisoft has a fascinating disrespect for Splinter Cell fans that doesn't let up. From the Siege cosmetics, to the DLC for Wildlands and just last month Yves dropping these hints at a Splinter Cell announcement (which surprise surprise, once again happened very close to E3), it's been 4 straight years of blue-balling disrespect on Ubisofts behalf. I cannot fathom how tone-deaf and incompetent they are at handling this IP, but by fucking God does it feel purposeful at this stage. Hope they crash and burn.
Tom Clancy's Destroy all Shooters.
No because Sam actually somewhat has a personality.
...
At this point it's just easier to believe that someone else will make a proper stealth game. How many more years will it take until they bring back Sam? And even if it happens, there's a 80% chance it'll be shit.
GET THE FUCK OUT
All hope lies with Sony bringing back Syphon Filter.
You think you care about SF but you don't. No one does
>this e3
Syphon Filter devs just put out Days Gone and were wildly successful. Once you take the open world pill, there's no going back.
Also the PSP games are fan-fucking-tastic so I don't feel like I need a new SF.
Stop user... it's dead leave it be. We'll always have our memories of better times. Unless you want Sony to revive the dead and bring about an sjw abomination
