I just have to laugh at the incompetence of all these companies.
How do they all get fooled into believing streaming will be the next thing?
Every single AAA developer is falling for this retarded idea and it's going to cost them heavily.

But user, for the price of just a few hundred cups of coffee a day, you could gain access to thousands of games! A couple of them might even be fun to play!

>$0

Stop the presses

I don't want to pay 15 dollars to play Tom Clancy games for eternity.

Overpriced and stadia literally doesn't work for most gamers

who the FUCK keeps buying Ubisoft games

>announce a new scam subscription service
>everyone in the audience CHEERS and CLAPS
>they do not BOO and get that shit off stage
>even blizzard the biggest drones out there boo'd the mobage shit at blizzcon
>so you can pay 15 dollars for one month and get a $60 game what a deal!
>and then I can buy $200 worth of microtransactions to actually play the game and not lose, its a great deal for everyone!
>all but confirmed when she says at the end of her announcement:
>"we want everyone, everywhere to have access to our games AND SERVICES"
Why did the audience cheer for this shit again?

>$50 for internet

10 years ago its was 30.. fuck

Can I get some clarification? First, if you want to get this on Stadia and not the regular app like Origin Access, you will have to pay two subs? Why not just get the regular one on PC? Just to stream it? Sounds very redundant.

Someone explain why this is being hated on?
I know I know, >ubisoft games are shit
but if someone did want to play them why not just buy a month of this, beat 3-4 games you wanted to play and then unsub for a year until more shit comes out? Then you don't have to pay for each of them individiaully and it works on new games so what's the issue?
And as far as I could tell its an honest subscription games service and not that stream bullshit that other companies do.

Honestly, Ubi has better games than EA so this is a better product than Origin Access even though they don't offer the 5 dollar lower tier like Origin

E M P L O Y E E S

Because it's an outrageous price for what it's offering. Microsoft's service is roughly $8, Humble Bundle is $15 and allows you to own their games, Sony's is less than $15 a month for both the option of streaming games and downloading them, and Origin's is less than $15 with more than just one option.

there is not a single ubisoft game I will pay even a penny to play. ubisoft is a paradigm of AAA mediocrity

Because games as a service is a fucking scam, and consumers need to stop ceding this much fucking ground to corporations.

Captain obvious over here. Kill yourself

How do they plan to actually get anyone to pay for this?

The new Xbox Ultimate is the same price, has game pass for console/PC, and still gives 2+ free games per month like Gold does, and undoubtedly has better infrastructure/steam integration/console streaming.

Serious question, I just bought RB6 siege on steam. Should I refund it and get this or nah?

Origin Access gets subs, I dont see why this wont

This kinda subscription shit is the reason I'm going back to pirating

You can still buy games

origin and xbox pass I can understand because those ones have 3rd party games
ubisoft pass I don't get because it's just ubishit
like what are you going to play? all those generic far cry and assassin's creed games?

You already know what to do. The only free man is a man above the law.

I think it's funny that this is becoming a new standard when SEGA did this shit like 25 years ago. The SEGA channel was kino as fuck and I'm glad I got to experience it.

Holy shit I literally had no idea that existed until now.

Origin Access Premier is MORE expensive than Xbox Ultimate, has ONLY pc games. And they only make like 2 decent game a year what the fuck, if you're that into the yearly sports stuff just buy the game.

I think this is neat, i already pay for EA access premium and the xbox game pass. But the latter is more or less always on sale for dirt cheap.

What was it like user? I never heard of it, i was born 25 years ago.
