Log in on Friday, unlock GNB, queue for leveling dungeon and while that long ass queue is going do hunts, beast tribes and levequests.
After queue pops and I finish dungeon I should be 61, then start the 9 hour slog through HoH 21-30 to 70.

HoH is your best option. Nothing else matches in terms of exp/time spent, not when queues will be hell for both DPS and Tanks.

It doesn't matter if none of them quit, if you add 10 times the tanks to the queue system, the healers there won't be enough. This is further compounded by the fact there's no new healing job and most players are going to be doing the ShB story, so what healers we currently have are going to be doing other content.

The only way GNB and DNC are going to get queues in any reasonable time is if you convince a friend to selflessly party with you as a healer.

Most of them will run back to DPS when they are expected to handle any kind of responsability.

It's more that everyone and their mother will be playing the two new classes. Tanks will have to slum it in the queues with the DPS.

There was a noticable spike in queue times for tanks in Stormblood and healers are being dumbed down just as much in ShB as they were in SB so it's extremely likely to happen again

This. Tanks and healers will always be in demand since it requires you to somewhat pay attention. This is also why they balance out for raid environments, since DPS now has an actual job to do beyond hit stuff.

It's not out yet. Don't make any meaningful decisions based on the april build. Try it when it comes out and decide for yourself then.

Idk if it's even possible to hit consistent 60 fps in this game at 1440p, i have a pretty powerful midrange build and even for me the game dips to 50 fps in very crowded cities.
It's just optimized like shit.

I remember doing this years ago with ARR ex primals to complete that quest that gives you i90(?) weapons like Balmung and Air Daggers.
I cleared all them after a week of goddamned queues and shitty groups refusing to learn mechanics. In the end I got lucky by getting a group of good players that basically carried me to victory.

Not sure about monitors, you're better off asking in /g/ about that or searching up some reviews, but you should be able to find a decent 1440p screen for 250-350.
Put the two extra fans into the front and consider getting a used GTX 1080 ti instead of the 2070 if you find one for a good price, just make sure to not get one from a trash brand like Zotac or PNY.

Strangely, every savage raider I've met has always been very professional, if a little dry to hang around. I spent about a year with a group where the majority of us only got together for raid night to get shit done.

The couple of times I actually socialized with people from the group was a disaster, we had a literal tranny, a lesbian, two Montreal Canadians, and a couple from San Francisco. The only one I could even stand being around was a guy from Chicago, and other than occasionally talking about Baseball, we were as different as day and night. One thing I wish would've been done is that your character had a lore-appropriate name (For instance, suncats are required to have a clan letter and males automatically get Tia or Nuhn appended to their name) and also had a nickname or adventurer name which doesn't follow conventions. In this way, I could have a lore appropriate name but still have a common name that's actually easy to say and remember.

While their ultimate goal will always be to temper the entire fucking world, even the Amal'ja recognize working with other non-tempered groups can be beneficial to themselves. It's likely had the snakes been beaten down enough, they'd have realized their only real option was to bide their time and make a temporary peace with AM.

As someone who was both a primal and aether player, this is true. Aether was filled with shitters, trannies, and self-important jackoffs that never managed to learn from their mistakes. The problem with these designs is that they sound interesting on paper, but combat has been designed in a way that any healer that can't shit out insane AoE healing on demand will be left in the dust.
And SE is never going to go through old content to fix it, so even a change in fight design can't do that much because the game carries 5+ years of flawed fight design now.

Crystal is just as good as any other NA DC I've noticed no changes in anything after the split.

That's the exact reason they summon shit though, because killing everyone who gets tempered is the only known solution so that puts them on the defensive. That leaves the only answers that don't involve the Imperial solution diplomacy and restricting their ability to summon.

This is why the Anata's crystal supplies were cut, because then the only way for them to summon is mass sacrifice and while it's not out of the realm of possibility, still gives them pause. Hell, even the imperials worked with them for a time in the sense they simply kept out of their affairs and nothing was summoned, it only seems to happen when the beast tribes get threatened.

Make it like Brewmaster in WoW where when they are hit by an attack that does over 20%+ of their health, its instead dealt over a few seconds. Maybe on an internal cooldown.

Even if their was, the corruption still spreads by leaving them alive. The kobold is harmless by himself, but leave a community alone and you could be dealing with losing an entire species to tempering.
