Its not the gameplay of HL i miss. dozens of other games have done what it does better. what i'll miss is the atmosphere. the ruined world. the constant shadow the combine cast over everything. the style of the environments and the stories they told through sight and sound alone. given HL3s supposed arctic setting, i dont think we would have gotten much of that.
