To be fair they have to pay patent licenses for adding in a rechargeable battery for something that also has bluetooth, this has never been done before until now.

>rechargeable battery
why would they include that though
having a changeable battery was one of the best things about the XboneS controller

>170 dollarlydoos
>For a single controller
That shit better have a toggle for sucking me off while I play, what the fuck.

>2019
>buying batteries weekly
The last time I bought batteries was for my Gameboy Advance every Saturday, the SP had rechargeable.

>that d-pad

What the fuck were they thinking?

>>made in china through "subsidiary"
as opposed to made in America by Mexicans?

>having a changeable battery was one of the best things about the XboneS controller
By far the dumbest thing I've heard this gen. As bad as the battery life is on the DS4, I get 10-12 hours use out of it, never once did I have to buy batteries for the damn thing. My x1s controller on the other hand has cost me around $30-40 now in batteries which is the cost of another ds4 controller.

You can swap it out for a regular one
the real question is why the dpad has markings at 22.5 degree intervals when the actual input only goes up to 45 degree intervals

>2019
>having to plug the controller in like a tool when the batteries run low
Buy two rechargeable packs and keep one on charge, swap them out in like 4 seconds when one runs low

>You can swap it out for a regular one
Can I swap it out for four separate buttons instead of a retarded third joystick?

Are you guys ready? kek

You mean like the "dpad" on switch joycons? No, but the regular xbone dpad is really good anyways

Behold the brain dead zoomer who knows nothing about how non changable batteries ensure your product will be rendered inoperable after a set time span. 2-5 years of regular use will drop its charge time by over 50%

CONSUME PRODUCT AND THEN GET HYPED FOR NEXT PRODUCT

this is basically the whole economy USA tries to push on everybody, why are you surprised now with a silly pad? your entire country does this all day every day with all products from all industries

Why is the d-pad censored? Is it lewd?

we have to justify the high cost due to labour costs!!!!! >:(
our CEOs cant live on pennies >:(

>as opposed to made in America by Mexicans?
are you implying that you would rather outsource production to the insectoids?

10/10

Oh no, after 5 years it will still have double the battery life of a DS4.

>after 10 years you decide for a new battery because your 8 hour charge isn't good enough
amazon.com/s?k=ds4 battery&ref=nb_sb_noss_1
Still saved $100 not having to buy AAs.

You can change it you turbo nigger. Just open it up and swap it.

>dont have to buy batteries for 5 years
>controller looks like shit from heavy use anyway
>saved over hundreds of kekanese bucks not having to buy shit batteries
>buy new ds4 for $35 on a holiday
Wow so hard.

>playing on the same console for 5 years
A bloo-bloo fucking poorfag.

Not the other guy, but do people not tear apart their controllers at least once a year to give them a deep clean? This and mice are 2 things even if you're a super clean person that just needs to be done.

and I bet the bumpers are still shit too, my xbone controllers bumpers fucking creak when I push them.

You know you can just buy one of these and then you don't need to buy batteries right? Plus you can use it while it's charging.
